Wow, what a shock. Turns out that match with Mexico, you know, the one that wasn't going to be
played in the United States, but at the Azteca in Mexico City on September 9th, got cancelled. And
what excuse do they give? Television rights.
That's right, television. Sounds to me to like they were looking for just about any excuse not to
travel to Mexico.
In what was suppose to be a big time friendly on foreign soil, against a country that we love to
hate as Americans; for some reason that has all changed now. Originally the US was suppose to
travel to Mexico for a friendly on September 9 in the friendly confinds of the Azteca. That match
apparently [...]
I'm ready or you? Ready for the barrage of bullshit we're about to endure about the squad we're
going to play in this friendly at the Azteca next month?
September 9th, let me look that up. Oh, yes, it's a Euro-qualifying weekend, so most of our
European-based players will be available. Awesome. Wait, what's that? The MLS has games scheduled
September 6th, 8th, 9th, 12th, and 13th?
