Young Spaniard Daniel Ayala has joined Norwich City in a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.

Ayala made five first team appearances for the Reds after joining the club from Sevilla in 2007, in his time at Liverpool he also saw loan spells at both Hull City and Derby County where he made 12 and 17 appearances for the sides respectively.

Hoy inicia una nueva aventura para los Tigres UANL en el Futbol Mexicano, una nueva oportunidad para poder conseguir lo que todos como aficionados hemos deseado por muchos años, el campeonato. Es verdad que esta nueva edición del equipo nos da para ilusionarnos mucho más de lo que nos ha ilusionado cualquier otra edición, pero también es cierto que como sabemos en el futbol nada está escrito, por lo que debemos ir paso a paso y hoy es nuestro primer paso.

Tigres arrancó el torneo Clausura 2011 al rescatar un punto en su visita al Estadio La Corregidora. El equipo se levantó de un 0-2 adverso en el segundo tiempo y vino de atrás de la mano de un genial Lucas Lobos. Por como se llegó al partido y con los nuevos refuerzos, la gente tenía mucha confianza de sacar una victoria, pero a como se presentó el partido, más de uno salió satisfecho con el empate.

Bueno la primera jornada de este torneo clausura ya dio comienzo, y nuestros Tigres se batieron en duelo contra los gallos blancos del Querétaro, en un partido que a mi consideración se pudo sacar otro resultado más favorable para nuestra causa, por lo que llegue a apreciar en los primeros minuto de juego, más las cosas no se dieron así, pero es de admirar que nunca se tiro la toalla y Tigres saco sus garras para lograr empatar el duelo que se veía perdido y sumar la primera unidad.

En la primera jornada en casa de los Gallos Blancos del Querétaro el equipo de Tigres rescato un empate a dos tantos, después de verse abajo en el marcador por dos goles a cero.

Mañana sábado 15 de enero de 2011 se recibirá a Necaxa en la cancha de el Volcán, esta es la oportunidad de empezar a centrarnos en que el equipo no debe de perder ningún partido en casa, Juninho nos lo hizo ver de esa manera en la conferencia de prensa de ayer(puedes verlo aquí), y que bueno que los jugadores sientan esa necesidad de que el equipo lo necesita y sobre todo nosotros, la afición.

El día de hoy se presentó de manera oficial el nuevo jersey de Tigres para lo que resta del Clausura 2011. En un evento realizado en el centro de la ciudad, la marca Adidas en conjunto con el departamento de comercialización del club, se dieron a la tarea de organizar el evento y tratar que los aficionados que asistieron, pudieran convivir con los jugadores.

En un partido con cierre cardíaco, Tigres derroto 2-1 al América en el Estadio Azteca. Con gol en tiempo de compensación del chileno Héctor Mancilla, los felinos sumaron su segundo triunfo consecutivo y llegaron a siete puntos en la cima del Grupo 1. Con esto el América se queda hundido casi en el fondo de la tabla, con sólo un punto.
