Shamelessly pie-jacked: Paul and Nicky Campbell of Piebury Corner
You may be of the opinion that Arsenal failed to win anything during 2011/12, but we're here to
tell you that you're so goddamn wrong that it's actually a little embarrassing just how wrong you
are.

Bathed in withering sun, Crewe beat Cheltenham in the League Two Play-Off Final at Wembley
yesterday afternoon to snag themselves a berth in League One next season, with the latest
wunderkind to roll off the Railwaymen's production line, 18-year old Nick Powell, opening
proceedings with an absolute belter of a goal darting away from two defenders with his first touch
and then lashing a shot across the Cheltenham goal.
Hello and welcome to the inaugural Arsenalinsider Awards. Well, that's probably how I would open
proceedings if this were a glitzy bash packed with the good and the great from the world of the
Arsenal and it was being screened live to an audience of millions.
Of course, in years to come this may well be the case but for now we will have to make do with the
virtual platform provided here.
Not good news for Villa fans who'd be hoping their team are completely prepared for their
important relegation battle at the weekend, with no distractions. This brawl with bouncers outside
a nightclub took place after the clubs annual awards ceremony.
The 3 players involved were Delph, Collins and Herd, all 3 of which have made a full apology since
the incident took place.
Aston Villa players James Collins, Chris Herd and Fabian Delph have all been fined by the club over
an incident that happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The fine relates to a nightclub
fracas that followed the club's annual awards ceremony on Tuesday evening (though the nomination
lists must have been pretty short).
It is now emerging that Neymar will not be leaving Santos after all. Premier League club Chelsea
have confirmed that they have ended their pursuit for the teen star after he committed his future
to Santos until 2014.
Villas-Boas revealed that his side have failed in trying to sign Neymar and that he has already
chosen his next destination which will most likely be Barcelona.

Homare Sawa and Lionel Messi won the Women's and Men's Player of the Year awards last night
FIFA's annual awards ceremony took place in Zurich last night and there weren't too many
surprises as to who would come top of the main awards of the evening.
It was obvious to all of the world and his dog that Lionel Messi would come to win the Player of
the Year award in 2011 following yet another truly successful twelve months with his club FC
Barcelona.

As the year comes to an end, awards circulate. Everybody speculates as to who will win the
Ballon d'Or. Some say Messi. Others say Xavi. A few say Ronaldo. However, the most shocking award
involves none other than Ricardo Kaka.
Well, there was some good news (maybe) on the Fabricio Coloccini injury front as Alan Pardew
struggles with Newcastle United's post Chelsea defensive crisis. Speaking at an awards ceremony in
Gateshead, the permed paragon revealed that a start in Saturday's game against Norwich City at
Carrow Road may indeed be a possibilty saying: 'It is [.

Manchester United were keen to bring Wesley Sneijder to the club this summer but a deal could
not be agreed for the player.
Speaking to the Italian media at an awards ceremony at University of Rome Tor Vergata, Sir Alex
Ferguson has today claimed that whilst Sneijder is a great player, he's still not on a level with
Paul Scholes, who retired this summer.

Attention Djibril Cisse! We regret to inform you that all of the credit points you earned by
wearing a Jean Paul Gaultier skirt to a 'Men Of The Year' Awards ceremony earlier this year have
now been revoked due to those appalling shoes. Unless you can confirm that you were indeed 'Dressed

The U.S. Men's National team will come to Philadelphia to play a friendly against Mexico on

There is no love lost between these rivals, and Tim Howard's complaint after the Gold Cup that
the post-match awards ceremony was only in Spanish only adds fuel to the fire.
It's no secret. Tim Howard was not pleased with how the Gold Cup awards ceremony played out.
For those of you who haven't seen, this is what he had to say:
CONCACAF should be ashamed of themselves. I think it was a [expletive] disgrace that the
entire postmatch ceremony was in Spanish.

Super Mario strikes again Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli was excused from his side's FA
Cup victory parade and end-of-season awards ceremony for "family reasons". And he took advantage of
his return to Italian soil to indulge in one of his favourite hobbies: throwing things at people

In so many words, last night Manchester United overlord Sir Alex Ferguson told MUTV that he
wishes that he was the one responsible for draping the 'MUFC 19 Times' banner over the upper tier
of the Anfield Road End on Sunday and, that if he'd have done it, he would of been all like.
After the match ended, I took a walk in the pouring rain for a good 20 minutes around Fells
