Having just sat through England's pretty unconvincing performance against Andorra I can only
conclude that there is some mysterious law I am unaware of banning actually running with the ball,
as opposed to just kicking it and hoping.
I was surrounded by about 20 England fans at the pub where we watched the match and I would
describe the mood as subdued resignation.
The most recent performance by the team currently masquerading as the reigning Champions of
Europe seems to validate a preseason fear held by many a United fan: Carlos Queiroz will be (and
is) sorely missed. While C. Ronaldo's failed move to King Franco FC dominated the headlines this
summer, the departure of Ferguson's two-time number two is clearly having the greatest impact on
the new season.
Liverpool are such a big club. Anybody who tells you he wants to leave a club like that is
lying.

It is very frustrating to know that you've been a playing such big part of the team and all of a
sudden you are in the shadows but that's the manager's choice and you just have to get on with it.
