The FAI today officially confirmed that Giovanni Trapattoni's Ireland will play the Czech Republic
in a friendly in Dublin on February 29.
They said the friendly will be the first of two home matches to be played in the Aviva Stadium
before Ireland go to the Euro Finals in June. The second friendly will take place at the end of May
and the opposition will be revealed by the association soon.

Giovanni Trapattoni is getting a rather decent squad of players together, and against Bosnia &
Herzegovina in Dublin, another gifted young Irishman made his first start for the Republic.
Shane Long's 78th minute header was enough to seal victory for the Rep of Ireland against Bosnia
yesterday at the Aviva stadium as Euro 2012 gets ever closer for the Irish.
