Being the number one pick in any draft comes with immense pressure.
Former Stuttgart midfielder, Sami Khedira, just cares about one thing this season and that's
bringing the title back to Santiago Bernabeu. As Madrid find themselves trophy less for longer than
they would have expected, the German midfielder main focus is to end this current drought.
With Khedira part of Mourinho's starting XI, he hopes to bring as many titles as possible to
Madrid.
Jose Mourinho will have to miss his side's upcoming match this Wednesday in the Champions
League against Auxerre, but the Real Madrid manager will not have to worry about serving any
further penalties for his role in the red card incident in Los Blancos last Champions League
match.
Mourinho, who was accused of telling his players to commit deliberate penalites in order to
sit out this week's upcoming meaningless match, was originally suspended for one match and fined
$160,000 by the UEFA.

The last Spanish Club with CHAMPIONS LEAGUE duties tonight was REAL MADRID hosting French team
AUXERRE in their Group G match. The Spanish side lined up an "alternative team" to give some of the
substitutes a run while Xabi & Ramos served suspensions & Casillas, Ozil, Di Maria & Khedira had
a rest.

Arsenal survived a nervous night at Emirates Stadium to defeat Partizan Belgrade and book a place
in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League, but already-qualified Chelsea suffered their first
defeat of the campaign at Marseille. Elsewhere, Roma reached the knockout stages after a draw with
CFR Cluj, while Bayern Munich made light work of Basel, and Spartak Moscow came from behind to
defeat MSK Zilina in a match affected by crowd trouble.
Real Madrid goal-keeper, Jerzy Dudek, will be out for 6 weeks after suffering a broken jaw in
Madrid's 4-0 victory against Auxerre on Wednesday. It was an unfortunate situation for Dudek as the
37-year old collided into an on-coming Roy Contout after clearing the ball from his feet.
Los Blanco's trounced on Auxerre yeseterday after-noon and although the game was said "Not
to be important for Real Madrid", they did not take this game lightly.
Karim Benzema's hat-trick against Auxerre.C Ron was the other scorer.Mourinho could not join in

On Sunday, as Alvaro Morata waited for his debut at La Romareda, you'd have been forgiven if you
were feeling a little nostalgic. Rarer than a blue moon, last week saw the debut of not one but
two Real Madrid canteranos.
Lots of Ligue 1 this afternoon, with Carlos Bocanegra's St Etienne at Lille on Fox Soccer Channel
at 1pm. FSC also has Bordeaux - Lens at 3pm. Lyon - Auxerre is on Fox Soccer Plus at 1pm. This is
the last match day for the French topflight before their winter break that runs to mid-January.
Copa del Rey on Gol TV: Atletico Madrid - Espanyol at 2pm and Real Madrid - Levante at 4pm.
After an epic encounter in Marseille, having Auxerre coming to Gerland probably will almost go
unnoticed. But hey, the first half of the season isn't over yet, and we have an opportunity to get
3 points and take the unbeaten run to 12 matches without defeat. It would be good for the team to
start the winter break with this comforting fact.
