Though Craig Bellamy only spent the second half of the 2005 season on loan with Celtic from
Newcastle, his Old Firm ties are apparently still strong enough that he refused to sign a Rangers
fan's shirt ahead of Manchester City friendly with the Scottish champions yesterday.
The lingering animosity is clearly still mutual, though, as Bellamy accused Rangers striker Lee
McCulloch of fouling him to get a cheer from the home fans:
"I expected to get stick from the Rangers fans.
Man City reserve striker picky about where he puts his autograph When you have had as many clubs as
Craig Bellamy it must be difficult to keep track of all your rivals. But after a 2005 loan spell at
Parkhead the Welshman is still able to remember 'Celtic good, Rangers bad'. So when a Rangers fan
tried [.
- Bolt visited the Bernabeu and met all his amigos, including Benzema, Greaseano, Kaka
and even Potter Perez. He got a super cool shirt with the number "958″ at the back.
Check out his autograph style- "Fr : Kaka". Hmmm, we can't spot Ricky's signature on the
shirt.
One of Sampdoria's protagonists in the early part of 2009-10 has been midfielder Andrea Poli, who
has revealed he draws inspiration from Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.
"I know I'm young and still need to improve," he explained to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I'm also sure that Samp is the best club to help me achieve this goal.
Ei futbolitas, many of us may be familiar with the louco Brazilian CQC
gang (even Felipe Andreoli officially knows how much nós
adoramos!) In case you happen to be living under Fabio Capello's rock, it's a
politically-incorrect current affairs programme that stands for 'Caiga Quien
Caiga'.
Like sex, football sells. For the good, but usually for that bad as you will see in 10
swift steps. Please take into consideration that there are thousands more, but for now there is one
question I need to ask you What's the French for Va, Va Voom?

Notts County are reportedly in the hunt to sign Sol Campbell.
The 34 year old former Portsmouth defender's contract expired at the end of last season. The
defender has been linked with the likes of Aston Villa, Everton, West Ham and Newcastle, but it is
the big spending League Two side who reportedly now lead the trail for Campbell.
"I blame Health and Safey!"
Chelsea players were jeered yesterday after fans who had turned up to watch an open
training session were denied the chance to get autographs from them. Over 8,000 Chelsea supporters
were at Stamford Bridge to see Joe Cole complete his first training session on his return from
injury but the party atmosphere went sour when the crowd was told players would not be signing
autographs due to "security concerns".
As a young star-struck kid, like most of my peers, my unswerving ambition was to meet some of my
heroes (all footballers needless to say), get an autograph... a photograph even, and become the
envy of my football crazy mates.
It never actually happened though! My being in Dublin and my heroes hanging-out in Manchester
didn't help and, in truth, I never actually had a cohesive strategy.
Even the presence of newly-crowned US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro - a
noted member of the Los Xeneizes family didn't bring Boca Juniors the
luck they needed yesterday.
Cristian Chavez scored the decisive 90th-minute winner for
Godoy Cruz as they defeated Boca Juniors 3-2 at the Bombonera stadium.
Lies and slander this morning from Steve Sirk, who has ungratefully forgotten who delivered him
from the championship-free existence of a Clevelander, and who claims, in Guillermo Barros
Schelotto's words, we "broke the floor" before his penalty attempt Saturday night:
After referee Ricardo Salazar whistled Jhon Kennedy Hurtado for bodyblocking Eddie
Gaven in the box, Hurtado and James Riley undertook a lengthy appeal.
So, the international break is taking hold and its all rather painful isnt it?
The closest I can find to some Arsenal news is a bit about Theo Walcott, he has been called up
to the under 21's again. The boss has apparently agreed to it but after both the seniors and the
under 21's use of Theo over the summer you wouldn't be surprised if he was backed into a corner and
forced to agree to Theo playing on Friday.
