Following the riot after Persipura's 1-0 home defeat by Persija, which saw the visiting team forced
to leave the stadium three hours after the game ended by boat, the Indonesia Super League in their
wisdom have seen fit to impose no sanction on the home team.
This is of course bollocks and double standards.
Firstly, a big hello to all the Chinese Spanish Football Sports readers. Secondly, you maybe in
good luck as Chinese Sports Authority Li Yingchuan has let known in a public act that they are in
close negotiations with the Spanish Football Authorities to play the Spanish Super Cup Final in
Pekin in 2013.
This bungling ultra finds out the hard way why footballing authorities are not particularly keen on
you bringing flares to matches. Spotted on Dirty Tackle
It's not often visiting teams get a result in Papua. I have no idea how that can be. Without games
from there being shown live, and even then the coverage ain't always the best and controversial
incidents get overlooked, there is little in the way of openness and transparency. Rumours aplenty
from people in the game who have been involved in games there but nothing more than that.
Juventus and their fans celebrated the club's first Serie A title since the 2002-03 season with
all the fervor and joy that you would expect. It's been a long wait for The Old Lady who have
finally returned to the top of Italian football after some dark years in the wake of the well
publicized Calciopoli scandal that saw them stripped of two league titles.
Bad news in general, particularly so in the light of the traveling bullseye that will be
descending on the Ukraine in under six weeks: a series of bombs spread through Dnipropetrovsk,
injuring a minimum of 27.
With Euro 2012 due to kick off shortly, the resulting worry that this may be in some way related
to the tournament is understandable, even though Dnipropetrovsk isn't one of the host cities.

I will let Ashley Young's acting do the talking, I do not need to condemn him with words, his
actions do that on their own. It is beyond a disgrace that we are having to see cheating like this

to retrospectively ban players found guilty of clear diving in the penalty box for three games,
As the season draws to a close, Chris Lines attempts to measure the success of this, Wimbledon's

ripped away from them by the authorities, Wimbledon were back in the Football League.
These simple questions have been sent to the Premier League and PGMOL repeatedly. These
authorities have not even sent a response to these questions, not even a statement saying that they
cannot answer the questions despite their silence making it very clear that they have something to

Over in the Brazilian ftop flight, Caxias striker Vanderlei was assaulted by a canine's canines

Having conceded a goal against Novo Hamburg, Vanderlei and his teammates swarmed the referee and

Should football introduce the 'Vanishing Spray'? - originally posted on Soccerlens.com
The 'vanishing spray' is used by the referee to mark 10 yards between the ball and the wall at
free-kicks. This line is a clear indicator of where the opposition teams should be standing before
the free-kick is taken and was introduced in an effort to stop the attacking team gaining advantage
by moving closer to the goal and the defensive side from encroaching towards the ball.

It may well be the season to be jolly, but after reading a list of Tweets highlighted by
TalkSport presenter Stan Collymore, it's hard to keep in a positive frame of mind.
The former Liverpool player has been receiving a large amount of abuse for his views on the Luis
Suarez racism affair, which he has been re-Tweeting along with racist abuse by various morons aimed
at Patrice Evra.
It was a story that started almost a year and a half ago in a blaze of publicity which involved
a major newspaper, allegations of corruption in another sport, a non-league football club and
suicide. Now, with the half-way point in the following season fast approaching, it seems almost
certain that the final chapter to play out in the life of Croydon Athletic Football Club will end
in the collapse of a club which found itself thrust into the front page of newspapers around the
world and, as the authorities pick over the carcass of this club over the next few weeks and
months, a question well worth asking will be that of how nobody came to recognise the signs that
there was something terribly, horribly wrong at this club earlier than it was.
It's not entirely shocking that a team with a -13 goal difference over 5 games and which was
down to ten men before the half hour was bludgeoned like a horror movie victim. However, the
exceptional swing in goal differential was exactly that which was needed to move Lyon above Ajax
and into the Champions League knockouts.

While he will no doubt now be steeling himself for the indignity of Thursday night European
football, Wayne Rooney at least received some good news on the morning after United's shock exit
from the Champions League.
The re-haired striker rocked up to UEFA HQ this morning, along with Fabio Capello and host of FA
bigwigs, in attempt to get his three-game EURO 2012 ban (for kicking out at Montenegro's Miodrag
Dzudovic) decreased.

1. It could definitely have been worse for England. Far, far worse. Yet the caution about our

Celebrations, due to the sad and untimely death of the manager of the national team at the
weekend, were perhaps more muted at The Racecourse Ground this evening than they might otherwise
have been. There should, however, be a pause this evening for Wrexham supporters to celebrate a
life well lived as well as the opportunity for a rebirth of their club following the news this
afternoon that the authorities have finally granted their approval for the take-over of the club by
the Wrexham Supporters Trust.

With all the furore kicked up by FIFA President Sepp Blatter a couple of weeks ago
regarding his stupid and senseless comments regarding racism in football, needless to say that
subject has grabbed the headlines back again in the blogosphere.
Kenny Dalglish recently criticised the Football League for the 'disgraceful' scheduling of
Liverpool's Carling Cup game against Chelsea, and this week, Dalglish has taken another
(well-deserved) swipe at the football authorities, arguing that the Premier League is ignoring
vital rest-periods required by players after international breaks.
Kenny Dalglish has been on one this season, demanding meetings with the Head of Referees every
time he doesn't get a decision, hilariously claiming Luis Suarez doesn't dive and he's now
complaining about Liverpool's fixtures.
"When we ask the Football League to move our game to a later date, we're told it's
impossible.
Dalglish's fixture fury
Kenny Dalglish has attacked the authorities for failing to rearrange fixtures and stop Liverpool
playing twice in 48 hours.

Referee chiefs are sticking two fingers up at fans by refusing to punish blunderers like
Martin Atkinson
How depressingly predictable that Martin Atkinson found himself gainfully employed in the
Premier League last weekend. And how depressingly predictable that Sam Warburton, the captain of
the Wales rugby union side, was given a three match ban after being sent off in the semi final of
the World Cup.
