Every year from August to February 10 teams fight it out for the privilege of being crowned
Australia's best team. They call it the A-League. Formed in 2005 from the scraps of the old
National Soccer league (NSL) the competition has now entered its 6th season and has had some very
entertaining seasons and finals.

Defending Australian A-League champions Melbourne Victory have revealed their Reebok new home and
alternate jerseys for the upcoming AFC Champions League 2010. According to the Victory's website
"Leading Australian parking operator Care Park will grace the front of the new navy and white
shirts, which both feature Melbourne Victory's distinctive V and will be used exclusively in [.
Melbourne Heart FC is an Australian professional football (soccer) club based in Melbourne,
Victoria which will be the 11th official franchise in the A-League. The club was formed in 2008 and
was awarded an A-League licence in 2009 to compete in the 2010/2011 season of the A-League. The
team is expected to play home games [.

While there has still been no official announcement that Faryd Mondragon will be joining the
Union, this news from Germany seems to be another unofficial confirmation: former FC Köln keeper
Markus Proll is on trial with the club to see if he is a suitable replacement for Mondragon.
