Two of the players are coming from this past weekend's open tryouts. Chad Becker from Rockhurst and Austin Williams from William Jewell have been invited to come to the game.

After getting a belated start on recruiting last year, Crowder College soccer coach Brad Smith had specific goals when he was recruiting players this year – he wanted to get faster.

"I thought we were slow and we were not able to score much last year," Smith said.

Local product Austin Williams, formerly #9 for William Jewell College.

Young mentioned two players, Austin Williams of WJC and Chad Becker, a goalkeeper who played at Rockhurst University and was mentioned here at Hillcrest Road a while back.
