The Chief's came out fast tonight and taking advantage of the strong wind, Turner Adams sent a free
kick into the box in the fifth minute that while initially parried, fell to Josh McCutcheon who was
then taken down before he could shoot.

In the final weekend of play for the MRL First Division, the local boys fell to the KC squad that
is currently in the middle of the table with them. After a scoreless first half, the Blaze got a
pair of goals in 10 minutes early in the second half from Conner Parrish (St Pius X) to gain the
lead on the hosts.

The new HS Sports columnist Matt Schoch has done a decent job of reaching out via Twitter so I'm
going to try a new policy here and point to some stories from the News-Leader, something I quit
