Burrito is happy Hulk Hogan going to be at 2 Miami FC games as he wrestle to beat your property
taxes, like he used to wrestle Andre the Giant and Ultimate Warrior!
But Burrito really hope the Hulkster brings his daughter Brooke! She is one hot mamacita! Burrito
going to ask Hulk if it ok if Burrito marry her and then we have little Hogan Burritos!
Miami FC was able to overcome a 1-0 deficit at half time and defeated Lynch's FC by scoring 2 goals
in 1 minute.
Lynch's drew first blood at the 35th minute off of a penalty that left the crowd gathered at
Tropical Park silent. As half time came and went things looked bleak for the Blues until a
confusing play that looked like a penalty in favor of Miami FC led to the first goal by Paulo
Araujo at the 64th minute.
Hulkamania will not be coming to FIU Stadium after all. Turns out the Hulkster canceled his South
Florida dates. No further info was given.
While all the drama concerning USL's sale was going on, Miami FC signed a new player. He is Forward
Aaron King who transferred last Friday. King, will be need up front as Miami's forwards have not
been very efficient this year.
Some people might complain that sport ticket prices in this town are expensive. In Baseball they
can range from $315 to $12-$16 for upper nose bleed. For American Football it's even worse $41.00
to $700.00! Not to mention parking! But when you talk about Football Soccer then you really can't
complain.
Hola South Florida Futbol Fans and peoples of the worlds! (Especialy all the hot mamacitas!)
Burrito bring you mucho informations so put on seatbelts cause here we go:
Miami FC win game on Sunday vs los Aztex from Austin by 2-0. Burritos idol Diego Serna hit post on

and his "DA Show" which starts at 8 pm and runs till 11 pm weekdays.
I was looking around for something else today and came across this little tidbit from December that
I missed.
That the Puerto Rico Islanders are one of the
hottest teams in the CONCACAF is a fact!
But the new USL-1 team Austin Aztex recognizes the Islanders as one of the hottest teams in
the world!
In fact the Aztex will face the strong Puerto Rican contingent in a friendly game tomorrow April
3rd in Austin.
Tonight the Puerto Rico Islanders and the Austin Aztex finished their scrimmage friendly
scoreless after regulation time.
Everyone of the reported 1,125 fans in the stands thought the game was over, when they realized
they were going to be treated to a penalty shootout. And to the delight of the local fans, Austin
came on top 3-0.
Four teams standing, and only one will gain the loyalty of yours truly. This is the semi-finals,
where four USL-1 clubs fight it out for the right to be my club. I expect that when the winner
is...
(Weekend Quiz is coming soon, after I fill up on creativity and caffeine. Promise.) I know you're
wondering how the third round came out in my Best US Tournament Nobody Pays Attention To, the Lamar
Hunt US Open Cup. Remember how I said that Round 3 is the first round that MLS is [...]
After their 3-1 victory on Saturday over the Aztex, Miami FC gets ready to take on The Rochester
Rhinos at Lockhart Stadium this Tuesday September 8th at 8 pm.
Last time these teams met was back in April at Lockhart Stadium when the Blues were stunned by the
Rhinos 2-1 in front of over 1500 people.
I'm not normally one to simply pass on links, but I just came across a nice little article on the
Austin Aztex, and I thought I'd share. It fits nicely with my new found interest in USL, and I'm...
The Colorado Rapids have loaned midfielder Ciaran O'Brien to the Austin Aztex for the remainder
of the 2009 season, the club announced.
O'Brien joins the USL First Division side, and he will be available for its game Saturday night
against the Charleston Battery.
"I think this is a wonderful opportunity for him to get games, to further his development and
really to play in what is most important in front of a crowd and for points," Rapids coach Gary
Smith told the Rapids Undercurrent.
Programming note for all of you interested in USL-1; Ginge is holding a live blog at his site
tonight for the Austin Aztex v. Puerto Rico Islanders match. Those of you that are regular
readers...
Just wanted to give an update on my ongoing story of Rafinha (video below), the Brazilian player
that I am trying to help catch on with a team here in the U.S. Well there have been a few tryout
offers from clubs in the USL Division 1 and 2, along with the USL PDL. There hasn't been any
interest yet from any MLS clubs, which is fine.
Boricuas play great soccer, not just baseball...
Ironically a major upset for Puerto Rico on Tuesday night in the World Baseball Classic was
offset by an amazing 2-0 win for the Islanders over the favourite Mexican subchampion Cruz Azul, to
continue the Puerto Rican Cinderella Champions League run in the 1st leg of the semifinals at Juan
Ramón Loubriel stadium.
A couple reports from Austin, Texas concerning a potential site for a new soccer stadium for the
Austin Aztex of the USL First Division. Typical internet discussion breaks out on the Burnt Orange
Report story as anti-soccer people begin bashing anything and everything about the sport and a
potential stadium.

Due to an administrative error that allowed Mike Callahan, a player that should have been suspended
for yellow card accumulation, to play a full 90 minutes in the Aztex 2-2 draw against Montreal. The
Austin Aztex will lose 2 points from their season total, losing the one point from the draw against
the Impact and a one point penalty for the error.
Yes folks Hulkamania is alive and well! His opponent you ask? He will be wrestling your Property
Tax!
Saturday, Sept. 5th Miami FC will play against the Austin Aztex @ FIU Stadium (Season Finale at
FIU) There will be a Powerade Pre-Game Parade, Celebrity/Media Game (Uncle Ed will be playing!) and
Hulk Hogan!
Or at least I assume so since he just signed with the Austin Aztex.
It looked like they were going to lose after the first half of the game. However, the Vancouver
Whitecaps managed to come back and defeat the Austin Aztex 2-1. The tie and winning goals where put
in by Marcus Haber and Gordon Chin on home turf at the Burnaby Stadium near Vancouver. It was
Chin's first goal on home grounds.
The Islanders tied the Aztex 1-1 Friday night to remain undefeated in the 2009 USL season. The
Islanders now have 2 wins (Vancouver & Montreal) and 2 ties (Rochester & Austin) in the season.
The Islanders came out aggressive in the 1st half but were only able to convert one (unassisted)
goal by Cristian Arrieta on the 39' minute.
The El Paso Patriots (PDL) will face the Austin Aztex (USL-1) tonight to determine the Houston
Dynamo's third round opponent in the U.S. Open Cup Tournament. The tournament's website says there
will not be any broadcast coverage, however the Austin Aztex website has a "Listen Live" button
that may or may not be operational for this match.
