Rumor out of Portland after the last game was that after Collin scored he and Julio Cesar borrowed a couple drinks from fans next to the field. I had to ask him about that (and the game). Last year Jimmy Nielsen took a bite out of a hot dog (or brat) that someone threw at him and then tossed it back.

I have to say that I was probably a little more optimistic about this game after seeing the pounding SKC gave FC Dallas. But, I was also a little worried that Vermes was going to go back to his beloved 4-3-3 formation that hasn't worked well. But, when I saw that Omar Bravo was going to replace Stojcev (who was suspended) I was again excited.

Another away game, another 3 goals given up, and another red card. These are things that are becoming way to common when talking about the Wizards games. The only difference with this game from the previous is the fact Sporting KC played solid for most of the game. For the first time I don't feel like SKC beat themselves in this game.
