pre-Christmas injury lay-off. Manager Kenny Dalglish has picked a strong side for the visit of
Oldham in this Budweiser sponsored cup match, but as strong as it might be it isn't Liverpool's

It's finally the scoreline we were waiting for, but a lackadaisical first half and an incident
late in the second take some of the sheen off for Liverpool, who worked their way past Oldham on
the strength of a terrific display by Craig Bellamy.
Since arriving at Liverpool in 2006, Fabio Aurelio has spent an incredible 23 months on the
sidelines recovering from injury, which makes him the most injured player in the club's history.
After a frustrating spell on the sidelines this season, the Brazilian made his return in the 5-1
victory at Oldham.
