One major positive from Thursday night's uninspiring draw with Steaua Bucharest was the sight of
Fabio Aurelio getting 90 minutes under his belt.
The Brazilian has endured a miserable few months since re-signing for Liverpool and his latest
injury problems have only underlined why the club were reluctant to offer him a new deal last
season.
Liverpool's director of football strategy, Damien Comolli is apparently lining up bids for as many
as five French based players.
According to The People, Comolli has been told to target players in their early-20s by Liverpool's
owners. Comolli is using his knowledge of the game in France to target some of Ligue Un's finest
young talents in January and next summer.

Just change the players' names and it's the exact same review as when these sides met in Utrecht.
At least that match had the built-in excuse of being away from home, even if the side was far
stronger.

Back to the A-team.
Liverpool full-back Fabio Aurelio is determined to stay injury-free during 2011.
The Brazilian's time at Anfield has been hampered by injury and this season he has been restricted
to just four starts due to some further niggling injuries since re-signing for the club back in the
summer.
But the 31-year-old, who initially signed for the Reds from Valencia in 2006, hopes his fitness
issues are now behind him and is hoping to play a major role over the coming weeks.

So much for at least being reliably decent at Anfield...
Wolves dominated every phase of the game and deserved their win. And this is a side that hadn't won
away all season long.
