Before Wednesday's USA-Brazil friendly, the National Soccer Hall of Fame officially welcomed the
class of 2012. United States NationalTeam alumni Desmond Armstrong, Tony Meola, and Claudio Reyna
were inducted alongside builder Tony DiCiccio and journalism award winner Grahame L. Jones. In at
times emotional ceremony, the inductees stressed to the audience of family, friends, and American
soccer dignitaries the kind of commitment and support it takes to have a Hall of Fame career.
As Untold Arsenal has steadily increased its audience, we have started to attract many comments
on the site from fans of other clubs. Now, for the first time, we are publishing an article by a
non-Arsenal fan.

Living Legend or Past his Sell by Date? By Rob McCauley, a lifelong Norwich [.
Hey gays,
Mighty impressive stuff, keeping up the season chat over at the Wigan thread. Have to say, I'm
very impressed at the level of commitment shown towards this blog.
Unfortunately, this blog is all but defunct now. Martin, Brenton, Darren and I simply do not
have the time to continue blogging here.
In an effort to reach out and be more accessible to a wider audience, there have been some changes
here at MLSReserves.com. First off, we've picked up some new writers. Brad Snook, William Schulz
and Leanne Elston join Pedro and I with the possibility of more joining on as well. What we want is
to provide you the readers with more content on a more regular basis.
TV Sports Ratings shared some very eyeopening numbers yesterday regarding this past Monday's derby

Hollie Cavanagh's bid for the title of American Idol got a huge boost last night, when Jamie
Carragher and his teammates sent her a good luck message from across the pond.
Hollie, who lived in Allerton, Liverpool before her parents moved to Texas ten years ago, was
seemingly overwhelmed when Ryan Seacrest introduced Carra before her performance, although it's not
entirely clear whether the majority of the audience understood what he said.
Don Garber: We Need a Broader Audience

Technically, Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls were playing a road game against the Milwaukee
Bucks. But with more Bulls fans than Bucks fans in the audience, it felt like a home game for the
Bulls. And when Derrick Rose hit a buzzer beating game-winner to win in Milwaukee, the crowd roared
with approval.
Some CONCACAF Champions League Basics - Seattle Times
Our audience probably doesn't need to be told this, but the Seattle Times has a good piece
explaining why fans should be interested in CONCACAF Champions League. Good to see this hitting the
mainstream.
To err is human. To err gravely is footballer. In the last few months, we've seen some pretty
atrocious actions by a few soccer players. The EPL has been marred by dissidents and racists. La
Liga has been cursed by malevolent dubsteppers. However, I always hate the sin, not the sinner. And
by "sin" I don't mean "Sin Bad", although I never did get the contemporary comedian's jokes.
When I sit down to write a blog post that I suspect will annoy most of my faithful readers,
there is always this brief moment of pause, where I ask myself "why bother?"
I pick topics somewhat randomly as it is, so I could simply "pass" on audience-angering topics.
Heck, I already pick to write about things as they interest me seemingly on a whim and have never
felt obligated to cover each and every result, player rumor or team announcement.
So its almost upon us, the biggest derby in the Premier League.

By J Hutcherson - WASHINGTON, DC (Feb 6, 2012) US Soccer Players -- As halftime came to an end
during Sunday's Chelsea - Manchester United broadcast on Fox, studio host Rob Stone fell back on
what has become a cliché of getting professional soccer over to a broader audience. Each and every
game is of unquestioned importance.
We are starting to see a glimpse of the upcoming Super Bowl ads. In this one, Matthew Broderick

By J Hutcherson - WASHINGTON, DC (Jan 17, 2012) US Soccer Players -- It's the dawn of another Major
League Soccer draft, this time the Supplemental Draft that until recently was part of what made the
SuperDraft super. Now, it's a Tuesday afternoon exercise in player selection minus the television
coverage or live audience.

Congratulations Sir. You've just successfully broadcast your hairy crevice to an audience of
millions. Good job...
Oh to be a Liberty Stadium steward.
The January 19th replay between Jozy Altidore's AZ and Ajax will be a romping room indeed, as
children will be comprising 85% of the audience at Amsterdam ArenA. At this point, Ajax are
basically telling schools to bring all the kids for the afternoon do-over. I may need to go witness
this for myself.

As the year comes to an end, awards circulate. Everybody speculates as to who will win the
Ballon d'Or. Some say Messi. Others say Xavi. A few say Ronaldo. However, the most shocking award
involves none other than Ricardo Kaka.
I very nearly ducked this one. I really want to duck this one. I've spent days telling myself
how tacky posts like this one are, and how I should just let it go and not write it. How I
shouldn't write it out of dedication to literary piety. But I know better. I know the real reason
is that I have something to say, and I don't particularly want to say it for a whole host of
reasons - personal, professional, and otherwise.

Manchester United staged their 'Big United Quiz' for MUTV t'other day which, at one point in the
proceedings, saw Wayne Rooney charged with leading Ryan Giggs and Jonny Evans in an innocent game
of charades.
Rooney was tasked with acting out 'Bend It Like Beckham' to his teammates and, considering his
audience, our Wayne's choice of mime for the fourth word of that particular film title has to be
seen to be believed.
Why does Steve Kean get so much grief when rock bottom Owen Coyle gets away with

Throw a stone anywhere in the areas of Greater Manchester and Lancashire and chances are you'll
break a window at a professional football club. The North West is the undisputed home of the
domestic game, with 12 teams spread over the four professional leagues.
With a remarkable strike from Robin van Persie, we're back in the top four, at least for the
moment. It was a deserved victory, as we dominated the chances and could have won by a few more.
The win gives us 29 points from 15 played, and puts us one ahead of Chelsea, who host Man City on
Monday.
The draw for the 2012 UEFA European Championship, to be held in Poland and Ukraine from 8th June

Week after week, planet football delivers magic moments that deserve a wider audience. Prior to the
invention of YouTube, those wonderous nuggets would have been lost in time, remembered only by
those brave souls who attend matches in the violence-blighted Argentinian Fourth Division. But not
any more and this week is no exception.

Rafa Benitez has stated several times over the last year that he would like to manage Liverpool

By Cesar Diaz - Harrison, NJ (Sep 28, 2011) US Soccer Players -- With all the coverage that's
invested in various soccer leagues worldwide, it's easy to forget that the United States has a
soccer history of its own. Whether or not many in the audience recognized it, that point was
stressed by last week's US Open Cup final.
