Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that whilst he still loses his temper with players, he has
mellowed as he has got older. Not because of his old age but because of the changing nature of
players.
"There is nothing wrong with losing your temper if it's for the right reasons," said
Ferguson.
Tottenham defender William Gallas can surely expect a hostile reception when he returns to his old
stomping ground on Saturday, but the Frenchman's current manager Harry Redknapp and former boss
Arsene Wenger have asked fans not to round on the ex-Arsenal captain.
Gallas, 33, spent four years with Arsenal but was a divisive figure among the Emirates faithful,
with his high-profile strop against Birmingham in 2008 emblematic of a player whose temperament has
often been questioned.
