All characters and events in this piece even those based on real

In the away team dressing room,
Manchester United are toasting another
victory.
A recent blog on the AA website called 'Project Youth-fact or
fiction?' (great write Illybongani) got me thinking about the direction that Arsenal has been
heading in the last 6 trophyless years and also the grief that Arsène Wenger has had to endure.
Fans seem to be divided into 2 opinions.
Never mind continuing his goal streak, I'll be happy be a defensive performance
There's only so many times one team can restart a season, which is why I won't even go into this
thinking that this is where it begins for us again. We are now in 17th position in the league. Our
next opponent, Bolton is 19th.
Happy Friday to you! With national team thoughts, Real Salt Lake/Philadelphia coming up and the
transfer window, here's whats on my mind for this Friday.
Jurgen Klinsmann and the National Team: Klinsmann is certainly making waves in the media
despite only being in charge only a month.
International weeks are never welcome however, this international break has come at a rather
helpful time for Arsenal. If Arsene can pull himself away from his commentary duties on French TV
and get back on the training ground trying to sort out his new-look squad, we could emerge from an
international break a much more formidable team for once.
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has revealed that he is delighted to have signed Craig Bellamy and
Sebastian Coates and admitted that he is considering the pair for the weekend trip to Stoke
City.
Both players joined the Reds during the summer, and the Scot stated that they are now "champing at
the bit" to play a part in the game against the Potters this weekend.
Typically, the day before a game I'll set up a interview with one of my many fellow SB Nation
bloggers to discuss the upcoming game and various aspects of the opposing team. It's nice to get
that sort of fan-level interaction and figure out just what the opposing team is about.
This time, however, Scott Kessler of the Brotherly Game and I have decided to take it a little
further than the typical three question approach.
With Week 26 action coming to close with a bang, we have a new slate of matches to look forward to.
Up tonight we have CONCACAF Champions League action. The Galaxy travel to Morelia to take on the
feisty Mexican side. I take issue though with a few of Arena's comments though. In particular he
suggests that without the success of Seattle and Dallas, Morelia would have fielded a weakened
side.
Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish happy with progress and squad unity
Scot believes the club will bounce back from last week's defeat to Stoke City because of the
team's attitude and is unsure over the benefits of being out of Europe this season

Throughout the summer, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been busy defending his transfer policy
and denying a deliberate effort to avoid spending major sums on transfers.
In one of his most recent interviews at the club's official website, though, Wenger took the
discussion on this topic to a whole new level by insisting that he is more than willing to spend
big on the transfer fee and wages of players such as the Gunners' five deadline day signings, as
long as the expenditure is justified.
The build up to tomorrow's game against Blackburn is as low-key as I can remember for Arsenal in
recent times.
Usually, in the immediate aftermath of a press conference, from which many Tweets are sent by
those in attendance, there are a host of stories scrambling to the top of the various news
feeds.
Dalglish: Stoke defeat won't knock us off course
"They've trained well all week and I'm sure they will go into the game against Tottenham on
Sunday in the right frame of mind and with the right attitude," says Reds boss

The Slovakia international assumed the position following an injury to Martin Kelly in the recent
win over Bolton and gave another solid showing in the defeat at Stoke.
Pardon the ghastly pun.
The vain one is Cristiano Ronaldo.
Dinamo Zagreb supporters gave him a good booing on Wednesday night. Ronaldo's explanation for their
attitude towards him was that they were jealous because he was "rich, handsome and a great
player".
So according to that logic people who are poor, ugly and bad at football are the ones who don't get
booed.
Steve Clarke has spoken of his joy at linking up with Craig Bellamy again at Liverpool.
The first-team coach knows from experience just how influential a figure the Welsh striker can be
having worked with him at West Ham United.
Clarke insists Bellamy is a great addition to Kenny Dalglish's squad.

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. -- The Chicago Fire are hanging around, and considering where this team was in
mid-August, it is surprising that a postseason berth still is a slight possibility.
The odds for the playoffs are slim as only six games remain and three other teams are ahead of the
Fire in the postseason picture.

All of you avert your eyes. Do not let them roam across the finely toned torsos, meticulously
muddy shorts or pleasantly shaped biceps of the Philippine Azkals. Fix them instead on that pile of
paperwork that's about to fall off your desk.

Since we're about to embark on another week's worth of UCL action, the ever aggro Mikel Arteta
implores you to put your money where your mouths are and make your match predictions.
We'll go first: someone will score, Mario Gomez's hair will continue to suck, Manchester
United's second string will win and we'll be the last ones to leave the pub.

There are a lot of funny and impressive incidents in football this week, and all of them related to
'attitudes'
I think this is the best (or worst) dive I seen in my life,
He got yellow card, however with this attitude, I think he deserved a red one :)
Well, did you think that player was cheating or he did over-dive?
Will Craig Levein name Garry O'Connor in his Scotland squad this week?
Apparently not.
Is that the right decision?
Yes.
Why?
O'Connor's form has been exceptional since he came back to the SPL. He's excelled in a struggling
side. Hibs aren't a one man team but they've been pretty close to it at times.
