Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt has completed a move to Turkish giants Fenerbahce after six years at
Anfield.
As reported by BBC Sport, the Dutchman, who joined Liverpool from Feyenoord in 2006, has signed a
three-year deal which could take him to the end of his career.
Kuyt, who made over 250 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 71 times, had become a fan favourite at
Anfield, but found his first team opportunities limited last season, with then-club boss Kenny
Dalglish opting to play Jordan Henderson instead.

While a number of Liverpool's younger stars have been called up for Roy Hodgson's Euro 2012
squad, one older head at Anfield has packed his bags for good. Dutch attacker Dirk Kuyt is the
biggest Liverpool name to leave the club under Brendan Rodgers' new regime, with the hard-working
wideman moving to Fenerbahce in a three-year deal.

While Uruguay could only draw 1-1 at home to Venezuela on Saturday, Chile won 2-0 away at

The New England Revolution snapped a 10 game winless streak against the Chicago Fire tonight at
Gillette Stadium, largely thanks to the 2nd half substitution of Kelyn Rowe (1 goal, 1 assist) who
gave the Revs the spark they needed to put away two goals and assure themselves of 3 points. Benny
Feilhaber was also largely responsible for the win, as he notched a goal and an assist of his own
on the night, the first of either that he's had so far in this 2012 campaign.
Ibrahim Afellay felt he acted in a horror movie. The Barca attacker tore his ligaments in his

Liverpool is considering an ambitious swoop for Napoli attacker Ezequiel Lavezzi, according to the
Guardian.
A previous report had claimed that Lavezzi wanted to leave Napoli this summer to ensure he plays
Champions League football - this is something Liverpool can't offer with the Reds only in the
Europa League competition.
It's been a singing-heavy week for Off The Post in the last 48 hours. First Javier Zanetti pops up
on Indonesia Idol and then we are privvy to a truly diabolical rendition of the Star Spangled

At last, with white Papal smoke billowing out of his arse, Lille's much coveted Belgian winger,
Eden Hazard, has finally told the world who he'll be signing for and it's none other than
Euro-conquerors Chelsea.
The 21-year-old wunderkind has been the centre of a tug of love with both Manchester clubs,
Chelsea and god knows who else all making a play for Ligue 1′s star performer.

Lot of talk these days linking Chelsea with some world class footballing talent. Not exactly a
surprising development is it? Nevertheless, a host of names have been sprinkled about in the rags
Lucas Moura, Shinji Kagawa among them. Two, however, continue to rise to the top of the list:
Givanildo Vieira de Souza (Hulk for short) and Eden Hazard.

Montpellier, a club akin to Wolves in size and financial power, pulled off a fantastic shock in
Ligue 1 this season, beating moneybags PSG to the French title and showing that, despite the
Chelsea and Man City's of this world, it is still possible to succeed without some rich geezer
spunking bazillions on his latest plaything.
Rumors of Napoli star Ezequiel Lavezzi moving to Manchester United are rapidly gaining pace,
with talkSPORT suggesting a move could be imminent. The report indicates that Sir Alex
Ferguson is ready to meet the attacker's minimum fee release clause, believed to be in the region
of £25 million.
Featured player Nicklas Bendtner feels he is not yet quiet 100% in sharpness although the
Denmark attacker feels he is obviously in better shape than 2 years ago when he & Denmark travelled
to South Africa for the World Cup 2010 where he had a groin injury. Denmark face Brazil on Saturday
in a International Friendly in Hamburg, Germany which is sure to be a really good encounter.

Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt has reportedly expressed a desire to remain at Anfield following the
departure of Kenny Dalglish as boss.
Kuyt has endured a frustrating season having found himself frequently on the bench, with Dalglish
opting to play Jordan Henderson and Stewart Downing rather than utilizing the Dutchman's industry.
Chelsea attacker Salomon Kalou opted for an arachnid themed haircut for tonight's Champions League
Final clash with Bayern Munich. It's the creepiest thing to appear in a Champions League match for
the Blues since John Terry got sent-off.
Lukas Podolski likely can't wait to pull on an Arsenal shirt.
His final game for FC Köln saw the team relegated, and his thank-you lap-of-honour was spoiled
by scenes of unrest on the terraces. It was far from a fitting end to a career that had seen
Podolski break into the Köln side at the tender age of 18, before returning to the club in 2009
after a three-year stint at Champions League finalists Bayern Munich.
Ox Delighted With Euro Call-Up
Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has said that his selection in England's
European Championship squad is a bit surreal for him but is confident that he can

Clint Dempsey's record-setting season is over.

the American attacker's career.
Chelsea held their annual Player of the Year Awards at Stamford Bridge last night,
with results decided by the players themselves. And as expected, Juan Mata lapped up the coveted
title of "Player of the Season" Award, as proudly announced by
Roberto di Matteo.
The chairman of German side Hamburg has confirmed that he is interested in opening talks with
out-of-favour Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt.
Kuyt has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield after finding his first team
opportunities limited this season, with rumours swirling that a number of European clubs are
considering moves for him.
Milan's quest to repeat as champions of Serie A fell short due to a number of reasons, in
particular the injuries which affected the squad and the demands of European football which drained
the players.
The Rossoneri must address the following key concerns in order to be successful next season in
Italy and Europe:
a) Ibrahimovic Factor: Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been in fine form since his move from Barcelona
prior to the beginning of last season.
At this time last year, the Portland Timbers were just eight games into their inaugural season,
and they were already creating a reputation for a dangerous ability to score goals off corner kicks
and free kicks.
By May 8 the Timbers had scored eleven goals, seven from set pieces. Portland's next game came
against Seattle, when Futty Danso famously got his head above Kasey Keller's outstretched mitts and
redirected Jack Jewsbury's long free kick for the score.

Jeff Parke wasn't too thrilled about getting unexpectedly benched in April. So when the Seattle
Sounders center back earned his way back into Seattle's starting lineup, he didn't waste the
opportunity.
Parke manned the center this week for Seattle as the Western Conference club posted consecutive
shutouts this week against Los Angeles and Philadelphia, with the two clubs posting just two
combined shots on goal against Seattle.

Hamburg appeared to move one step closer in the battle for out-of-favour Liverpool attacker Dirk
Kuyt, after club coach Thorsten Fink described him as a "class" player.
The Dutchman has struggled to nail down a starting place in Kenny Dalglish's Liverpool team, with
the Kop boss opting to play Jordan Henderson in a wider role.
Feyenoord sporting director Martin van Geel said Dirk Kuyt is unlikely to leave Liverpool at the
end of the season.
The Rotterdam side has earmarked the attacker as the perfect replacement for on-loan star John
Guidetti, who is expected to return to Manchester City this summer.
Van Geel admitted, however, that financial issues complicate matters.
Colorado was thoroughly outplayed in the first half, mounted a comeback in the second half, got a
gift PK that would have given them a draw, and then blew the PK (with the help of a couple of
a$$hole fans) and lost.
The first half was ugly soccer from the home side. There were, once again, no shots on goal.
Colorado made the first of two trips to Utah and returned with the sort of result that can haunt
a season.
The Rapids fell to Real Salt Lake 2-0 on Saturday night, and looked every bit as toothless as
the score line indicates.
Playing at home, Salt Lake dominated the match, taking the lead in the 20th minute when defender
Tony Beltran picked out Alvaro Saborio.
Colorado Rapids 1 Galaxy 2 It was a road win the Galaxy deserved, dominating Colorado and taking a
2-0 lead only for a non existent PK call (c'mon MLS refs you have to actually see cobntact,
especially in the box, not just assume it occurs if an attacker goes down)
Hamburg are the latest club to reportedly show their interest in Liverpool attacker Dirk Kuyt, with
rumours circulating that he will be on his way out of Anfield this summer.
Kuyt has found his first team opportunities limited since the arrival of Kenny Dalglish as
Liverpool boss last year, starting only 11 games in the league this season.
A very standard situation today: with a player's contract running out at the end of the season
and with the club's positional placement assured, he announces he's moving on. This happens all the
time. Most of the time it doesn't even require a press conference, rather a smashing of letters
into the Tweeter box.
Cardiff defender Mark Hudson scored a spectacular goal in his side's victory over Derby County last
night. The centre-back was in his own half some 68 yards from goal when he sent the ball sailing
over the head of Rams keeper Frankie Fielding. Bluebirds boss Malky Mackay said: "It was a real

At three of the possible four levels, the Union turned in a very strong performance in defeating
