When the Chicago Fire signed German international centerback Arne Friedrich, the one major
concern was that the defender's injury past would prevent him from staying on the field.
That concern came to fruition over the weekend, when Friedrich had to exit the club's victory
over Sporting Kansas City after getting his leg caught under him on the slippery surface on a rainy
night at Toyota Park.
Tiote and van der Vaart were convinced that, despite their differences, they could dance their
troubles away.League wins at St James Park are as rare for Spurs as days where Harry Redknapp
doesn't provide the press with a story-leading quote. If you remove the great Timothee Atouba's
fantastic winner from the 1-0 steal back in 2004, our away record against Toon would look fairly
terrible.
THFC1882′s Stuart Watts presents the return of guest writer Gareth Johnson for his very
personal preview of Spurs visit to Newcastle:
Sunday 16th October 2011. St James' Park. Kick off 4pm. Sky Sports 1/HD1 and

It's the big one. No, it really is.
