ever seen, let alone been at a soccer match at Old Trafford or San Siro, you would understand the
effect on atmosphere that such venues create. Fans chanting, arms outstretched in unison, the

tackle.
Lille striker Moussa Sow dreams of playing in England and would like to do so for Arsenal if he
does.
The 25-year-old Senegalese still has 18 months on his contract with the Ligue 1 champions, but
that doesn't mean he's not looking ahead.

Can Arsenal return to winning ways on the road? We have won away at last and once again should
be playing in the red and white, so the portents are good. In fact, I have slaughtered, then
disembowelled a rare, green resting frog and after studying it's grizzly entrails I am delighted to

Here's the game as we saw it -- as it happened. There was a rousing tribute to Gary Speed before
kick off with John Carver in tears on the sideline and the Newcastle crowd were roaring out
"There's Only One Gary Speed" The Newcastle crowd were in good form as the game kicked off and
the atmosphere at the ground seemed to be electric.

We need a
big night tonight from the players on that pitch and from YOU the supporters in
the stands. That's the message from AVB and is he exactly right!
He said:
The fans can have a massive impact against Valencia. They have to unite themselves.
I have good memories of top European nights at this club and I know the atmosphere that can be
raised here.
I don't know what the tiredness equivalent of what *boilk* is but I've got that this
morning.
Plus a touch of actual *boilk* too but not enough to actually make me *boilk*. Last night at The

to thank all the people who came along, bought a book and had a beer or two.

Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel has hailed his partnership with Daniel Agger, stating the Dane is
easy to play alongside.
The Reds have conceded three goals in six games since the Slovakian stopper was paired with Agger

Uruguayan Sebastian Coates is also vying to start for Liverpool and Skrtel believes competition for
places is healthy.
Since in many ways this was my first regionals all over again (new sport), I went back and compared
the notes I wrote (literally, on an old Apple Newton) and compared them with my experience this
last weekend. And there are several similarities and differences:

* Chance to get better games if you perform well
* High pressure, high stakes games
* Some nice comrade with the other officials
But there were some big differences, too.

MLSsoccer.com: As a native of the Seattle area, what has it been like watching the
Sounders take off in the region?
Rowe: It's been great. The fan base is unreal. You walk through Seattle and half
