The recent return of Liverpool's messianic regent, King Kenneth of Dalglish, to
the Anfield fold may have been enough to make full-grown Scousers lose control of their giddy
bladders, but the man himself is keen to quell the 'honeymoon' atmosphere currently engulfing the
club insisting that the club's supporters would be wise to begin lowering their newly re-inflated
expectations:
"We have got to manage expectations.
Trot on Bolton's well-documented injury problems have left Owen Coyle with just 15 first-team
players at his disposal. What has been slightly baffling is his refusal to call upon an Academy
player, even if it was just to warm the bench and sample the atmosphere of senior football. Instead
he named just four substitutes for [.

Word on the wire is that Manchester United think they have a very real chance of wrapping up a
£7 million deal for Inter Milan 'keeper Julio Cesar, after the Brazilian
international fairly innocuously claimed to love the 'atmosphere and passion' of English football
recently.
Edin Dzeko is not officially a Manchester City player before having his work permit application
being approved, however the Bosnian international striker has already made important goals on his
upcoming adventure with the Eastlands side.
The striker is aiming to improve his qualities with Roberto Mancini's team and looking forward
to taste Champions League football again which he has already enjoyed while playing with
Wolfsburg.
Not much to report from the past 2 days.
Julio Cesar, who seems to have been around forever, is the latest keeper linked with us. All
this due to his comment about how the atmosphere at football matches in England is fantastic. Or
something to that effect. As we're well accustomed to, any comment from a player comes under extra
scrutiny in January because it's their subliminal way of asking to be transferred.
Everton visit Anfield for the 215th Merseyside derby.
And, for what seems like the 215th time this season, Liverpool are tasked with rebounding from a
difficult result.
Obviously things are different now Kenny Dalglish is in charge, most of the squad is available
and on full fitness, and the atmosphere around the club is much more positive.
Getting to know the newest Seattle Sounders player, Michael Tetteh
I've been meaning to write a bit of an introductory piece about Michael Tetteh, but honestly
Joshua Mayers does as good of a job as I possibly could have. Tetteh's personal story is pretty
impressive and really is worth learning about.
BOLTON, England Bolton Wanderers have announced the signing of defender David Wheater for an
undisclosed fee from Championship outfit Middlesbrough. The former England Under-21 defender has
signed a three-and-a-half year deal and linked-up with his new team-mates for the first time on
Thursday morning at the club's Euxton-based training complex.

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that he (and his No. 2, Kevin Bond) were mugged in
Madrid, ahead of the Copa Del Rey tie between city rivals Real and Atletico on Thursday evening,
after being distracted by strange men tugging on his trousers.
Thanks to Gordon Milward who sent this into us to post out.
The atmosphere at Anfield has been lacking for awhile
The players and the staff they did their best to smile
A new manager was needed, a man the people knew
A man of great stature in life there are a few
Dalglish is his name what changes can he bring
In remembered times gone by, his name the Kop would sing
Hard work would be ahead, he could only hope and pray
This man is full of courage.

In an interview with a French magazine, Wigan midfielder Mohamed Diame didn't hold back in
letting all-and-sundry know what he thinks about his current place of residence:
"The truth about life in Wigan is there is nothing to do. It is a crappy place.
Although Tottenham Hotspur supporters have made their presence felt by maintaining an excellent
atmosphere at White Hart Lane throughout the season, chairman Daniel Levy is adamant that the club
needs a bigger stadium to continue its development.
The Spurs have been criticized for seeking a move away from North London as they have been
competing with West Ham United for the Olympic Stadium in Stratford.
Dotmund has always managed to keep his passion for Richard Keys and Andy Gray well under
control, ever since the former posed the what-he-presumably-thought-was-rhetorical "[would we
really swap what we have now for] a £2.50 ticket and a cold pie?" question in February 2007′s
FourFourTwo magazine.
It seemed even last year that the Philly Union wanted Brian Carroll to come their way...
Best thing we can do as a media outlet, is to provide a bridge between the fans and the players.
We've inventoried the interview requests that you've made to TSG and we're working our way through
them.
First up, Brian Carroll of the Philly Union.
This is tifo in the process - you could be the next Section 8 Chicago tifo idol.

O'Brian White looks like he could end up being a significant off-season acquisition for the
Seattle Sounders.
BARCELONA, Spain — Karim Benzema led Real Madrid to a 1-0 win at Sevilla before Barcelona rolled
over Almeria 5-0 in the semifinals of the Copa del Rey on Wednesday. Benzema, the much-questioned
France striker, answered his critics with a valuable away goal in the 17th minute of the first-leg
match at Sanchez Pizjuan stadium.
January 27, 2011 North American Soccer League (NASL) FC Edmonton EDMONTON, AB. It's been five
months since their last competitive match against Miami FC of the NASL, and even that was a

Hibernian have completed the signing of Icelandic youngster Victor Palsson on an 18-month contract
from Liverpool.
Skysports.com revealed earlier this week that the 19-year-old midfielder was set to join Hibs after
failing to make the breakthrough at Liverpool.
He made three appearances on loan at Dagenham & Redbridge back in November and Palsson is looking
forward to his opportunity at Easter Road.
