After the 10th round of Campeonato Brasileiro, Atletico-MG returned to the top after the 3-0

Corinthians were the ones who benefited the most from the midweek round. The two clubs won at home
by 2-1 and watched direct rivals losing important points.
In Belo Horizonte, Atletico beat Fluminense, who had the 5th debut of coach Renato Gaucho.
One of the best match of Campeonato Brasileiro was played last night at Mineirao. Atletico-MG
and Palmeiras, second and first in the table, faced each other a produced a thrilling game, which
had, one more time, goalie Marcos as the main name. In a blunder he allowed the locals to score.

Up until last week, the Brasileirao seemed the tournament no one wanted to win. The favorites
kept losing points with pale football. But the 30th round shows signs of change by two sides.
Flamengo and Atletico-MG want to take the title home after a long time.
While Palmeiras, Sao Paulo, Inter and Goias gave another display of loss of steam, the two sides
pocketed the three points in very important matches.
