In the world of transfer news and rumors, rule #1 is (or at least it should be) not to believe
everything that you read. If you did, you'd have your own remake of The Exorcist. Even if it's not
believable, it's always fun to read, and we've got plenty of transfer speculation for [...]
Well, if reports published on elconfidencial.com are to be trusted, then Spanish champions and
European powerhouse Real Madrid have signed Sergio Aguero from Atletico Madrid. Or at least, they
have reached an agreement. It has emerged that Real and Atletico have agreed on a deal with Real to
pay their crosstown rivals a massive 60 million [.
The draw for the UEFA Champions League last 16 took place yesterday and it certainly produced some
mouthwatering ties. The first games will take place the last Tuesday and Wednesday of February
(24th & 25th) with the return legs taking place two weeks later (Mar 10th & 11th). Here is the full

For those of us who are consumed by football every year brings new thrills and disappointments, a
million what ifs and if onlys and ultimately a feeling of elation, satisfaction or despair,
depending on where our unfailing loyalties lie. We laugh and cry, argue and debate, get
over-emotional and sometimes regret what we say but [.
(photo courtesy of uefa.com) Wow. There are some really great match-ups that have emerged from
today's draw at UEFA headquarters. I'm going to give a quick rundown and early predictions though I
reserve the right to change my mind before kick-off of the this round! The tie that will likely
generate the most press is [.
There is only one person in the starting XI under the sticks- Iker. Things have not changed much
for him. With a suspect backline Iker Casillas is the one that saves Madrid's hide time after time
after time. He might not be close to his Zamora-winning season last year, but he is the
man. To [...

Ischia and will hire former coach Carlos Bianchi in a managerial role as of January.
While Manchester United and Chelsea were headed to Moscow (and to a last-day title decider) and
Liverpool were after Barry, Arsenal and Tottenham were both looking across Europe for an
experienced midfielder to shore up the squad. Managers rarely do what they're supposed to but it
hasn't stopped fans from expecting them to do the right [.

A former teammate of mine that had a style of play "similar" to Steven Gerrard (and would
be insulted as he is a Man Utd. fan)described the ties in one word- mouthwatering. I
will use this term only once as I could sound redundant. Each one of these ties could end up
being the best [...]
Final 16 Match-ups

rivalry with Sir Alex Ferguson as Inter Milan were drawn against the reigning champions Man United.
It will also be a homecoming for Claudio Ranieri. The former Chelsea manager will return to
Stamford Bridge with his Juventus side.
