After the Torres story broke soon after Chelsea won the Champions League, it's been good to hear an
update from Nando as it was clear he needed to speak with the club. I wrote a post straight after
the story broke and made it clear that
he has never said he wanted to leave and what's wrong
with wanting to confirm the clubs plans for him and the future!
For the second week in a row, the streets in Madrid will be transformed into a colourful
sizzling 'fiesta', after Atletico's Europa League victory last night
and Real's La Liga title celebrations last week. If you're looking for
the party capital this summer, you know where it is!

Remember when everybody was cool with Alberto Aquilani leaving because he really didn't want to
be at Liverpool and he was soft in the tackle and the club had Raul Meireles anyhow, who at least
was already proven in the Premier League, and as long as the club kept one of them around they'd be
deeper in midfield then they had been the year before so it'd be cool?

Patterson-Sewell will likely retain their spots in Atletico's starting eleven when Covilha come to
town.
