It's official! After what seemed like weeks of tedious umming and ahhing, Aston Villa fans have
finally gotten their wish have confirmed that they have appointed former Birmingham manager Alex
McLeish as their new boss just five days after he ditched Brum in a storm of controversy.
Aston Villa fans have protested against the likely scenario that former
Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish will be appointed new Aston Villa manager tomorrow, after the
former Rangers manager was given the green light from Villa hierarchy to take the Villa Park
hot-seat.
Aston Villa fans have to be wondering what is going on with their club after Wigan Athletic
manager Roberto Martinez said he was not interested in moving from Wigan to Villa Park.
Martinez was offered a double-your-money deal from Villa and will instead sign a new three year
deal to stay to Wigan.
What a final day for the English Premier League. Fans of Blackburn, Wigan and Wolverhampton will

In what was a lively opening in Copenhagen, Nicklas Bendtner shot wide for the hosts and Wayne
Rooney had an effort blocked on the line by Mathias Jorgensen before Daniel Agger opened scoring
after seven minutes, when her headed in Christian Eriksen's right-wing cross.
