Martin Jol has stunned the footballing world by dramatically selling himself to Aston Villa.
"To be honest I expected more from Fulham. It's a small club," he explained while screwing up

The 2011-12 season ended last night. Okay, there's still sixteen or so games left and a lot can
happen.
But as a sporting competition, as a object of interest and fascination, last night's impotent
display and crashing out of our 3rd cup competition in as many months has us begging for this
once-promising season to just end.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has alleviated concerns about Arsenal's perennially high injury
list, stating that it is about to shorten in the coming days.
Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski made a long-awaited return in the goal during yesterday evening's
3-2 FA Cup win at home to Aston Villa and Wenger believes that midfielders Abou Diaby and Jack
Wilshere are also recovering better than expected.

Luis Suarez's future at Liverpool may be up in the air, but he is hoping to end any and all
speculation by signing a new deal with the club.
Plagued by controversy since joining Liverpool from Ajax in January 2011, Suarez is keen on
extending his time with the Reds.
On Wednesday night the planets were clearly aligned in a perfect pattern to benefit Arsenal.
We got a hard-fought win at Goodison Park, a ground where Chelsea, Manchester City and the N17
Reprobates have all crashed and burned recently.
And while we were doing that the Spuds, with their enduring sense of comedy timing, were
dropping two points at home to Stoke and the Chavs were losing at the Oil Refinery.

The Premier League title and the Champions League places are far from a done deal. Both
Manchester City and Tottenham have blown healthy leads in first and third place respectively to
fall down to second and fourth, and while City's depth and sheer quality (not to mention a recall
for Carlos Tevez) may yet save their title challenge, Tottenham don't have that wild card to call
upon.
