Luis Suarez made his Liverpool comeback last night following his eight-match ban during last night's 0-0 draw with Tottenham. You can imagine that the Uruguayan's final instructions before coming on as a substitute probably didn't go: "Barge over the guy with the Afro and then kick someone in the stomach.

By far the best arrival of Transfer Deadline Day was Benoit Assou Ekotto's crazy afro. The Tottenham left-back has ditched his cornrows to rejuvenate his Jackson Five look, and we can only applaud. Excellent work, Benoit.

Tottenham Hotspur tonight moved level on points with second placed Manchester United after a performance of patience and high quality.

Everton turned up at The Lane as many teams now do, to sit deep and try and frustrate Spurs. It's to the credit of Harry Redknapp and his team that they didn't get frustrated and saw the opposition off to seal the points.

So the Premier League season is finally here, it's Tottenham Hotspur's opening game versus Everton..........

It wasn't pretty. On a cold December Sunday afternoon, Tottenham Hotspur saw off a resilient Sunderland to record a 1-0 victory and get back to winning ways in the Premier League.

Tottenham are currently in a spot of bother in the Europa League as they find themselves 2-1 down to Greek side PAOK. Spurs went two goals down, which was hilarious to an onlooking Benoit Assou Akotto who declared that he was laughing out loud as PAOK took the lead. Saturday 26th November 2011, 3pm Kick-off. The Hawthorns.

It's a rare Saturday 3pm Saturday kick off for Tottenham Hotspur this week. Not that the game time should faze Harry Redknapp's dazzling Spurs side, on the face of it, not much could or should at the moment.

I don't know about anyone else, but it kinda frustrates me when I watch football matches in the Premier League and I hear commentators and the like praising a player or stating how important he is... yet in my opinion that said player is actually massively over-rated, and rarely contributes much to a game at all.
