Benny has been discussed in recent months on this blog, after he was criticised by Alan Hansen and after the Daily Mail interview a few weeks back, so there's little need to further analyse this latest offering.

Tottenham left-back Benoit Assou-Ekotto says Spurs will attempt to pile the pressure on Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea at Old Trafford on Monday night.

We had the same stories with William Gallas last year so it should be expected that the newspapers should highlight Emmanuel Adebayor's past and ask whether Spurs fans will be welcoming him with open arms this season.
