This time last week Hibs were looking forward to a once in a lifetime Scottish Cup final.
Harold Wilson was a Huddersfield Town supporter so he probably knew that if a week is a long time
in politics it can be an eternity in football.
A fairly miserable eternity at that.
The Hibs team that turned up at Hampden lacked belief and lacked desire.

Less than 24 hours after a study found that girls were being put off physical education at a
young age because of 1) a lack of female sporting role models, and 2) the growing view that
"getting sweaty" was not feminine, a chief executive of the Independent Association of Prep
Schools claimed that British parents are sending their daughters to private schools to protect them

To reveal your youngster for the outdoors planet is usually artistically executed with the use
of nursery decals with images of widespread domesticated animals, well known cartoon characters or

flaunting hanging vegetation and animals these kinds of as vines and monkeys respectively.

Since it's the last day of 2011, I'd like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and may your target
and aspiration be achieved next year. While everyone gets into their own party mood, there's still
a game to be played for Arsenal with Queens Park Rangers visiting the Grove. The players will have
to keep their celebrations on hold as we look to go back to winning ways.

Well, Sergio Aguero certainly isn't messing about is he? Lordy. Declared partially fit by
Mancini and that, sir, is what £38 million looks like. Right there. Talking of which, I'm not sure
Gary Neville is cut out for this punditry lark. Not to say that he can't be rather insightful at
times, it's just he seems to have based his delivery style on that of the robot maid from Rocky
IV.

Cesar Diaz writes of the tremendous programming going on in New York City, and specifially in the
South Bronx, by South Bronx United and the Uptown Soccer Academy.
With the rise of obesity and asthma mixed with low reading scores the children in the South
Bronx and Washington Heights continue to produce, they are in danger of never reaching their full
potential.
Hey Arsène, how many big pots are we going to win this
season?
Why we need to stick to the Wenger Revolution
(And why it is necessary to keep reminding us of
this)
By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest;
Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the
bitterest.

Darron Gibson is no fans' favourite at Old Trafford. And, having joined the 'twitterverse'
earlier today, the Irishman found himself subject to a number of ill-mannered 'tweets' that, we can
only speculate, forced him to close his account within two hours.

Darron Gibson eh?
Frank Lampard reckons the Champions League should be Chelsea's number one aspiration for this
season. The England midfielder knows Chelsea are seemingly out of the Premier League title race
after some poor form that has seen them drop to fifth and sit 12 points behind leaders Manchester
United. Anyone looking to bet on Champions League [.
