Hola Amigos, this just in from reliable news source Gizmodo!
Malaysia will now be Futbol Soccer power thanks to new Laser technology they just get from China!
Funny how Chinese not think of it themselves!
Malaysia recently beat Indonesia 3-0 thanks to lasers being shot into face of Indonesian players
who could not see and they cry like babies!
As far as the strangest free kick I can recall goes, this is up there although it doesn't really
touch the Catania of a couple years ago. This one, from the Chinese second division, is easily the
most confusing, though.
Was this planned? Or is number 32 just the worst teammate known to man?
Con la victoria de Japón sobre Australia 1-0 (gol de Tandari Lee) en tiempo extra finalozó en
Qatar la XV edición de la Copa Asiática o Asian Cup, según su denominación en inglés (o كأس
آسيا, en árabe).
Try the cocaine, it's delicious.
There's something seriously wrong with the word "Wednesday," but I suppose that's neither here
nor there, so let's see what's in the news today. Oh, look, live4liverpool has an article titled

Despite several allegations of corruption and breaches of ethics, there are now less than 8
hours left for the bidding nations to convince FIFA to give them the ball to host the World Cup. So
yesterday, the 2022 World Cup bidding nations presented their final push for the position and
as we write/you read, the 2018 World Cup bidding nations will make their last arguments
before the Executive Committee will vote.
Who will host the 2018 FIFA World Cup? Who will host the 2022 FIFA World Cup? Both these questions
will be answered by FIFA today as they announce the World Cup 2018 & 2022 bid winners ( December 2,
2010) at 16.00 CET ( 15.00 GMT) England, Netherlands-Belgium, Russia and Spain-Portugal have bid
for the 2018 World Cup.
I'll have a full blast later on, but let's just not pretend that awarding World Cups to Russia and
Qatar was based on strength of proposals. Mmmmkay?- Greg Seltzer
*Too little, too late - We now learn Switzerland's sports minister had ordered an investigation
into "corruption in sport" a month before the controversial World Cup hosting decisions. "It is
clear that Switzerland is obliged to do something," Ueli Maurer announced in response to the
growing allegations of FIFA wrongdoings, which led to the suspension of two Ex.
As ironies go, this one's pretty good given the full spectrum of their acronym, and all, even if
it's no longer surprising.
Everyone knows that the BBC's decision to broadcast their Panorama expose just two days before
the vote hurt their chances. It was likely directly responsible for their exit in the first round
of voting, even, though it's unlikely they were getting the tournament anyway (FIFA's lost its
taste for vanilla, it seems).
SPANISH FOOTBALL SPORTS BLOG has surpassed the 1.500.000 unique visitors. The readership stats
show that it is popular in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, Africa & bigger
than big in Asia: THANK YOU!!! I would never have imagined this "hobby" would get so far. There are
people who dislike the blog - naturally, would not expect anything else - but the majority show

The silly season is whipping up, so I'm already busy on the hunt. You can find this year's monster
Top 5 Potential Summer Euro-Freebies over at S365, and I'll drop the MLS version here soon. A
little switch from past editions. Why the change? No idea...We start with more FIFA fun. Could
Qatar share hosting duties with surrounding countries?
Less concerned with this successfully converted penalty trick we see roughly once a year than I
am with two things:
i. After watching it several times, I still can't help but root for the keeper to stop it. I see
the ball go to his left...and then he goes to the left...and then he reads the shot correctly, goes
right.

More dramatic Asian Cup memories from Japan's past to get us in the right frame of mind for the
upcoming tournament...
Having come through the controversial quarter final penalty shootout with Jordan, Japan's
semi-final opponents were Bahrain and this match was even more dramatic.
Last year we had the drama surrounding Didier Drogba's participation in the African Cup of Nations.
Or African Nations Cup. Whatever it was called. This year, Asia takes it's top teams to Qatar in
January 2011, and it will have an impact on the Premier League. Park Ji-Sung is already with South
Korea, and Lee Chung-Yong will join him.
