Well, not in so many words, but the Spuds manager talked about the problems he has been facing
on the club's tour of America and we can pretty much see it's not a good idea.
Speaking about the training sessions he said,
I would be a liar if I said it was the perfect way to prepare for the new season, because it is
not.
Photos of Liverpool's alleged new home, away and third football shirts for the 2010-2011 have
been leaked by a supporter's group in Asia. The new shirts are designed and manufactured by Adidas.
And if they're the real ones, they're leaked more than six months ahead of time.
The new Liverpool football jersey for the 2010-2011 season is simple in design with a round
collar, white trim and white lines that are along the sleeve and near the bottom of the front of
the shirt that enhance the design.

China's Football Association has expressed interest in bidding for the 2026 World Cup. If the bid
moves forward, China would be a strong candidate; FIFA would love to bring the world's biggest
sporting event to the world's most populous nation.

Michael Bradley.
Well, not here on this very computer screen, that would be just silly. But it will start,
officially, in Canberra this week with the first Matildas camp in 2010. While Tom Sermanni had
close to 40 players in some camps last year, he's about to start whittling down to find his A-team
that he hopes will qualify for the 2011 Women's World Cup in Germany.
With Dave on his honeymoon somewhere in Asia, Mark and Nat hold down the Seeing Red fort and give
us a breakdown of both games against The Union. They even have a special guest in former Red

and every Red Bulls fan.

Was it Gary Bloom who said Greece would attack with flair and Korea would defend and play on the

Shows what the Europeans know about football and Asia. We all knew the Koreans would do themselves
and us Asians proud.
Loved it.

Let's start this on off early and see how much I can add before closing time. I feel like this
could be a fruitful day.Let's begin with Jeremiah White, who seems to have been switched over to
Saudi team Al-Ettifaq. The club owner also owns Qatari outfit Al-Sailiya, but has apparently
decided that the American would be better suited for his Saudi crew.

I will steal Rob's admission on the weekend and simply vault it onto the continental scale: I know
very little about Asian football. On the grandest of scales, I may even know nothing. Some teams,
some of the better players, but more or less, nothing. But I have been enthralled by it for the

Negeri Sembilan coach Wan Jamak Wan Hassan is not thinking about the AFC Cup. He feels his squad
isn't strong enough and doesn't wasn't to excel in the Asian club competition while struggling on
the domestic front. Which is nice of him as the rest of Asia has indeed been quaking in the boots
at the thought of an underfunded all local Malaysian side running rings round them next year.

Etoile are the new leaders of the SLeague brushing aside Tampines last night at the Jalan Besar

just four points in their last four games seeing their lead at the top eaten away and now it is
they who sit two points behind the Frenchies.

It's definitely a pleasure to have two of the top teams from the Premier League in New York this
weekend to compete in a friendly tournament. So many times in the past, the States have gotten
passed up as clubs traveled to Asia. Now, this summer is our turn with a handful of English clubs
touring the United States.
Ah, Chinese football the future of sport as entertainment. The league is something of a practice
in perfecting footballing extracurriculars, and as such they've undergone a number of image hits in
recent years; martial arts comparisons, minor scandals, massive scandals, etc.
The latest in their run to footballing supremacy comes from a fan who was displeased with his
team, Qingdao, being given a second red card within a three minute period.
Indonesian striker Bambang Pamungkas has wrapped up his trial with the Phoenix and returned home

The SLeague, so they keep telling us, is one of the best 10 leagues in Asia. Not anymore it

With just a handful of games remaining in the most exciting SLeague title race in recent years two
of the leading lights have been allowed to leave.
Home United's Shahril Ishak and Tampines Rovers Khairul Amri have been head-hunted by Indonesian

To the rest of the world it may have been just a friendly, and Argentina will surely play it off
as such, but to Japan and the people at the Unofficial Football World Championships, there's
substantially more meaning: they're now World Champions. Unofficially, of course, but that won't
matter not when the last three hands to grasp the chalice have read the Netherlands, Spain and
Argentina.
Just don't think we need it, not yet.
It could connect us to the grassroots clubs, but haven't much confidence the FFA would get it
right.
Would the winners get a place in Asia? Otherwise what is the point.
Let's get the league sorted, crowds growing before we put hard earned dollars from a reducing
revenue stream into another "we can't afford the flights can you pay FFA," national competition.
