Three premiership big guns, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool who last weekend suffered disappointing defeats all bounced their way back into victories this Saturday after beating their respective opponents.

The Blues went on a 4-1 rampage against new boys, Swansea, the Gunners slammed troubled Bolton 3-0, while The Reds edged Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 at Anfield.

Just when Fernando Torres looks to be finally rediscovering his goalscoring mojo he goes and messes it all up with a two-footed lunge on Swansea's Mark Gower.

The Spaniard had put the Blues 1-0 up on 29 minutes but only 10 minutes later he was traipsing off the Stamford Bridge turf after receiving a totally warranted red card.

Fernando Torres loses his fucking mind. Chelsea, meanwhile, don't miss a beat.

The Chels slash four past Swansea at the Bridge despite playing with ten men for the better part of 50 minutes. It was pretty much an excellent performance aside from the wretchedness that was Torres' fist-half, studs-up lunge on Mark Gower at midfield.

So, the time has finally come as Swansea City fans gather up their scarves and hats, don their new shirts, check their sat navs and AA Road planners, pick out their toilet stops and plan their trip to Manchester City and a journey to the Etihad Stadium.

For the converted, a four and a half hour drive is in order from Swansea as a convoy of 2500 fans make the trip north from South Wales to face Roberto Mancini's ‘fantasy' football side on Monday night.

Premiership newcomers Swansea City are everyone's favorites to go straight back down to the Championship. Talk to any pundit, any armchair fan, and the chances are that the words "Swansea" and "relegation" will no doubt come up in conversation.

It is clear that it will be a difficult task for Brendan Rogers and his side, but one the team from South Wales is sure to relish.
