Ever since Friday's World Cup Draw placed the U.S. and England in the same group I've had one
thought racing through my mind. Will the Americans baste the Cornish game hens of those limeys and
trample their arses up and down the pitch? Or will the English reforge the bonds of the British
Empire and massacre the Yanks like it's 1770?
Morning folks. There isn't a whole lot going on. Although we have a mid-week match, it's as
meaningless as the Spuds last two months of a season so it will be a week filled with nonsense and
injury reports (or lack thereof). There'll probably be some transfer rumours in there too, having
linked us with just about every striker in Europe, the press might actually catch on that we need a
keeper with more urgency than a striker and start pulling a few of those out of their arses to
write about.
Steve Darby, the Thai SEA Games coach and assistant to national team manager Bryan Robson, has been
told to listen to the media in future.
As the soul searching and chest thumping continues in Thailand over their team's failure to reach
the SEA Games semi finals for the first time since 1873 Darby has come under fire as have the Thai
FA for lack of preparation.
