It's this easy....Soccer is a game of undeniable beauty, but there are times of tragic ugliness.
That ugliness is no more apparent than when a player crosses the TV screen or right in front of
your face at the stadium that just gets your blood boiling. So mad that you just want to punch that
mother f*cker right in the face!
I never thought I would say this but sometimes I am sick to death of the whining and whinging of my
fellow Gooners.
Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion. I respect that. But sometimes the criticism of
Arsene Wenger, the players and the club in general borders on the verge of hatred.
Despite having been troubled with plenty injuries and inconsistent performances in this early
part of the season, Arsenal's coach, Arsene Wenger, seems content with the players that he had and
believed that his current squad will be successful by the end of the season.
This indication can pretty much be seen with Wenger's statement about ruling out making new
signings in January as he feels that the team are playing well even without some important players,
who will come back soon.
Whether an individual is taking something seriously is often an extremely subjective question
that only the person involved is able to clarify, and this has certainly been the case for Arsene
Wenger's treatment of the much-derided Carling Cup.
However, with the Gunners now reaping the rewards of using the competition to get youngsters
used to the pace and competition that exists in the top flight of English football, it appears that
Wenger is finally being vindicated in his claim that this experimenting was still treating the
competition seriously.

From the Guardian (as usual for me) Squad sheets: Manchester United v Arsenal
With one point between these sides at the top, and Patrice Evra turning up the heat on a rivalry
that always threatens to boil over, this should be a feisty affair. Arsenal will probably make the
trip to Old Trafford without their captain, Cesc Fábregas, after Arsène Wenger said the Spaniard
has only a "small chance" of facing United.
There is only so much that one can take from another human being before one snaps.
I have immense respect for the man from a footballing perspective; he has put so much into the
British game as we know it, reforming the entire drinking and dietary culture around the game and
contributing a new attacking flair with a dogged defensive solidity.
Giant overcoats In the past we have mocked Arsene Wenger and his knee-length puffa. We just assumed
it was the longest coat in football. That was until we spotted Gus Poyet's dugout attire for
Brighton's match against Huddersfield last weekend. The ex-Chelsea man wore the first bit of gear
we have seen that could truly [.
The long walk.
I don't want to write this. For several reasons.
One, it's a loss to Arsenal. Fucking Arsenal. Nothing stings quite like a loss to that wretched
lot. Much of that stems from the fact that we just don't lose to sides helmed by Arsene Wenger it
was two losses in 18 matches prior to Monday's dissection at the Emirates.
Last week, sports sections in all the European newspapers were full of the controversy
surrounding the Real Madrid/ Ajax game in the UEFA Champions League . Aside from Real's dominating
4-0 win over the Dutch giants, the major news story cpncerned the two red-cards given to Real
players Xabi Alonso and Sergio Ramos.
Just a couple of Arsenal stuff to get through today.
Injury news
Except for Samir Nasri who has a knee problem but is still expected to recover enough to feature
in tomorrow's game against Fulham, all others maintained status quo. Robin Van Persie will be
assessed after getting his first 70 minutes in a game since returning from a long lay-off.
talkSPORT gets spoofy The Premier League's great and good have given talkSPORT their reaction to
the unusual voting patterns at the World Cup 2018 and 2022 announcements.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has expressed his delight at having his two first choice strikers fit
and raring to go at last following the return of Robin van Persie from injury. The Dutch striker
has long suffered from injuries, but he should now find himself partnering new sensation Marouane
Chamkh up top, a prospect that the French manager is looking forward to.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was clearly delighted with his side's home win over Fulham on
Saturday as he spoke about individual performances in his post-match press conference. On Laurent
Koscielny's injury, the Frenchman confirmed that the ...
With Arsenal getting ready for tonight's now-or-never game against Partizan Belgrade, manager
Arsene Wenger is already looking forward to next week as he explained captain Cesc Fabregas and
midfielder Abou Diaby will most likely miss ...
For all of Arsene Wenger's talk of his promising kids, about all their talent and gifts that has
been marinating on the stove that is the Emirates, the trophy-less sequence which now clouds the
Frenchmen's apparent fool-proof belief is raising questions about the Gunner's direction.
The initial two double wins in 98′ and 02′ were sufficient foundation for Wenger's ethos,
his new ideals were transforming Arsenal and shaping the football club seen before us today, a true
world power, who have been in top four every season he's been there and moved into a world-class
stadium.
When I was growing up we used to joke that the Indian Cricket team always provided the audience
with value for money in terms of thrills and chills. In those days the Indian cricketers had the
ability to turn the easiest of wins into nail-biting encounters. Seems to me, Wenger has been
inspired by that lot.
Not the first time Shrek dives against us
After qualifying for the Champions League's knockout stage, the focus for Arsenal turns back to
domestic glory with a game against Manchester United on Monday. That is basically it. There should
be no thinking of who we will face in the last 16 of the European competition.

Arsene Wenger: a big fan of the invisible chair
In November 2009 we published a post about how Man Utd had urged its own fans to stop with the
"Sit down you paedophile" chant, aimed at Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.
More than one year on, it's the same old story, as Fergie personally calls for an end to the
chant.
Manchester United midfielder Nani insists that Arsenal are bigger threats in the Premier League
than defending champions Chelsea. While the Blues have stuttered as of late, Arsene Wenger's
talented Arsenal side has gone from strength to strength, and Nani believes that Monday's fixture
at Old Trafford is between the two biggest title challengers.
After a very disappointing performance on Wednesday questions were asked about Andrey Arshavin's

Frenchman explained the Russian's game is based on risk, ...
A Ji-Sung Park's first-half header was enough for Manchester United to go back to the top of the

The only time Vidic failed to block
Unlike previous seasons, no matter how bad we were, Arsenal always manages to get good runs of
fixtures (by that I mean victories or undefeated) in spurts throughout the season. So far, we have
not make that happen yet. After a couple of good away wins, we lost at home against our hated
rival.

old set to join his new team mates in January. Speaking about the player, manager Arsene Wenger

The other day I read this article about Wilshere that had a few quotes. A couple of lines stood
out.
You never get ahead of yourself, you just can't. Take the boss, for example. He won't say too
much but he's never completely pleased.
Even if you've had a good game he'll always say, ‘You could have done this better'.
One of the more interesting parts of being a fan of more than one sports is the ability to observe
parallels and general trends that transcend each sport. We as fans like to believe that every
player on our teams is as dedicated to the cause as we are and yet in most cases this is the
exception and not the rule.
As it was the case with Patrice Evra before the Manchester United game, Arsenal manager Arsene
Wenger opted for a diplomatic approach in replying to Nani and Mario Balotelli. In his pre-Chelsea
press-conference, the manager was ...

next week.

Beware of the Big Dorg!
It's been a long time since I came up with something to write! Been away on official trips to
places of total disconnect from the outside world. Have missed some action as well, but my return
to regular football watching, reading, writing and not to leave out living cannot be delayed for
longer.
By Ulysse Pasquier, writing from Montreal
Arsenal ended on Monday night their calamitous recent record against the Blues with a
significant 3-1 win at the Emirates.
Arsene Wenger's players had to overcome the psychological pressure of having won only two of
their last 18 matches against Chelsea in all competitions.
Arsenal's fixtures will be coming thick and fast throughout the Christmas/New Year period, and
with that Arsene Wenger is likely to rotate the squad in most games. Nicklas Bendtner hasn't
started many games this season due to been injured for the first 3 months and other strikers been
in good form.
Perhaps no player in recent MLS history has stirred up more emotions in fans than the Swedish
superstar, Freddie Ljungberg. Freddie inspires awe, confusion, respect, disgust, and makes us ask
ourselves many questions.
Is he the poor man's David Beckham?
Is he the unlikeable David Beckham?
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes making eight changes to the squad which eased past Chelsea
was not the reason why they failed to get all three points against Wigan. Speaking after the 2-2
draw at the ...
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger declared the Gunners had quite a good game on Wednesday against Wigan
Athletic as he was completely satisfied with the players involved. Speaking to Sky Sports, the

1. Arsene Wenger must be sick of late goals at the DW Stadium. 2. It's a good job Paul Konchesky
was subbed off last night or Liverpool fans would have had nothing to cheer at all. 3. Charles
N'Zogbia's headbutt was a bit over the top, but we did hear that Jack Wilshere was trying [...]
Arsene Wenger saw his much-changed team beat Wigan 2-0 to reach the semi-finals of the Carling Cup,
but although Man Utd were knocked out, it doesn't mean that Arsenal are now certainties to win
their first trophy in five years. They are certainly now hot favourites with the bookies. He was
asked if Arsenal fans were [.

Well, in the words of the great warrior-poet Ice Cube, "I have to say it was a good day."
Now, I'm under no illustions that we played great. Or even good.
