Ever since Chamakh signed for Arsenal there has been a question, how will the Moroccan play with
Van Persie in the same team. Arsene has in the past mentioned that he will look at various options
including a change in formation, something that many fans have been demanding.
Intriguingly enough, we saw Van Persie in a deeper role against Wigan in the Carling Cup.
The Arsenal and Wales midfielder Aaron Ramsey may have spent nine months recovering from the broken
leg sustained by that famous challenge by Ryan Shawcross, but he now believes that his
rehabilitation is nearly complete. Arsene Wenger surprisingly allowed him to go out on loan to
Championship side Nottingham Forest after playing just 45 minutes for [.
Forget that he played in the World Cup, he was rushed back to lead the line for the Dutch but
never actually looked quite right.
Moreover, the lone striker role is just not playing to the strengths of the spikey former
Feyenoord man.
I am hugely excited about the new deep lying forward and or roaming number 10, tip of midfield
trio, free role thingey he has going on for him now.
The other day I read this article about Wilshere that had a few quotes. A couple of lines stood
out.
You never get ahead of yourself, you just can't. Take the boss, for example. He won't say too
much but he's never completely pleased.
Even if you've had a good game he'll always say, ‘You could have done this better'.

In a story that was first announced by Arsenal blog Young Guns in August,
Arsenal have finally confirmed the signing of Japanese forward Ryo Miyaichi. It
was a great birthday present for the young player as he signed his contract with the Gunners on his
18th birthday.
One of Arsenal's major problems when facing Chelsea is how to handle striker Didier Drogba who
according to manager Arsene Wenger is one of the key elements of the London derby. Speaking in his
pre-match press ...
Arsenal can go up. Arsenal can go flat. Arsenal can go down. It's that time of the season and
the League table is set up nicely. Come April and May we won't have five teams so close to each
other at the top. One or two of the top teams are now going to push on, some will carry on with a
stop-start season, and one or two will lag behind.
To read the Thai media you would believe that the nation has a divine right to glory in the ASEAN
region. All they have to do is to walk on the pitch and the other team should be quaking in in
their pink and yellow boots yelling peace, peace.
Unfortunately for them folks the world ain't that simple.
It's funny really. Two months ago Chelsea looked unstoppable. In recent weeks they've been
crumbling like a Hob Nob. The swagger and confidence is gone, along with Malouda's early season
blistering form, and of course Drogba's goals. Yesterday they again stumbled, only managing a goal
from the spot and ultimately a 1-1 draw with an Everton team that's resilient but in no way the
best toffee side the Prem has seen in recent years.

Na Na Na Na Samir!
The day started with Arsenal placed at the 3rd position, desperately hoping to move up the table.
It was facing a Fulham team which hadn't won a single game away from home this season. When the day
ended, Arsenal had won the game 2-1 and finished on top of the table! Read on to find out how.
How quickly things change in the world of Arsenal injuries these days. Yesterday we expected to
lose Laurent Koscielny for a few games, which would allow Djourou his chance alongside Squillaci,
this morning the news is that Koscielny is fine and will play tonight while Djourou has a small
thigh problem which means he won't be involved at all.
Arsenal 3-1 Partizan
The performance was rubbish, the result was key. Isn't that what good teams are supposed to
do?
Before I comment on the game itself there is a subject that has been really bothering me over
the past season or two and that is the abuse that Denilson seems to get from his own fans.
Morning to you. The thaw is well and truly on, not in time to save football last night but
Sunday should be fine. I had to replace an hour of 5-a-side with an hour of drinking Rioja and
playing FIFA 11, it's close enough to what happens on the pitch.
Now, a lot has been said about the comments from Patrice Evra.

At 1030 this morning onwards the draw for the round of 16 in the Champions League will take place
and right now I would take FC Copenhagen. Our potential opponents for this stage of the draw are as
follows:
Inter Milan,
AC Milan,
Roma,
Lyon,
FC Copenhagen,
Valencia.
On the face of it Arsenal's clash with Stoke is not really one to get the pulses racing when it
comes to following the Live match score centre this weekend. But after the events of last season
the match at the Emirates is likely to contain as much spice and passion as that of a [...]
NYON, Switzerland — English Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea will face
Marseille of France and Danish champions Copenhagen respectively in the last 16 of the Champions
League following Friday's draw at UEFA headquarters. Marseille president Jean-Claude Dassier said
he was relishing the tie.
The sacking season is upon us. In the past couple of weeks, Newcastle has fired Chris Hughton and
Blackburn Rovers has dismissed Sam Allardyce. It's difficult to believe that at least one more
chairman won't mark the turn of the year by pulling the trigger -- Hughton and Allardyce were in
mid-table, after all.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger categorically denied that striker Nicklas Bendtner and midfielder
Denilson will be sold during the January transfer window. Speaking to Arsenal TV Online, the
Frenchman explained there is no truth at all as ...
Whenever most coaches of a giant club opens their mouth, it's often with the bent and benefit of
their team in mind. It's just good coaching, and good coaching is a numeric job of 24/7/365.
Arsene Wenger's no exception. In fact he may be in the top five with Hall of Famers Sir Alex
Ferguson due a lifetime achievement award and Jose Mourinho, who may replace Fergie in a number of
roles one day.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes 35-year old David Beckham could be a useful asset for his
squad if only abundance was not a "problem" on the flanks. Speaking on Thursday, the Frenchman
explained how Theo Walcott, ...
A visit to the official site today is met with standard pre-big game fare. There's no need for
us to envy Chelsea's recent high school prom queen like purple patch compared to our imitation of a
barren middle aged history teacher. Games between the Big Four won't necessarily decide where the
title ends up.
I, for one, am more than a little bit tired of telling people that Arsenal are finally going to
perform in a big game, only to have it thrown back in my face.
The statistics of our recent matches against Chelsea and Man United are more damning than anything
I can say, even in criticism of Theo Walcott: in our last 11 games against the pair of them we've
managed one draw and 10 defeats, with just five goals scored and a whopping 23 conceded.
My heartless teasing of tampons in the previous post has apparently angered whatever feminist
Gods there are, and they smote me to wake up this morning feeling like a very second-hand Whisper,
which is exactly how I'm feeling. I'm looking to put in a ‘red and white' joke here somewhere,
but that transcends the boundaries of good taste even in my books.

Lee Probert is now my most hated referee. I think the worst performance I have seen in a year in
an Arsenal game by a match official.
Phil McNulty has started his regular, reactive oscillation regards Arsenal. Despite
earlier protestations that they lacked backbone, it would now seem the "Arse" are busy exposing
Chelsea's cracks, showing that the lacklustre performance against United is obviously forgiven
and forgotten.
In his post match comments after the defeat-like draw against Wigan Arsene talked about the lack
of communication at the back.
We need to communicate much better. That's something we need to rectify.
Nobody is taking charge on the organisation side, there is no voice when the focus drops a
little bit.
