"He Was not one of Durtmund's Best young players" Were some of the headlines his signature was
met with.More on that here.
So I also did some digging around to find out who is this young german we had paid £600k
for.
I was lucky Enough to find see that reserve league match he played in against Swansea.

Dear Gunners Our Faith has been tested during this season like never before, its been dubbed as
Arsne Wengers toughest season ever, His worst ever, where some gunners and the media labeled
Arsenals new recruits panic buys, Calling Arsenal a sinking ship. And now and then we'd be told by
the other team*** to mind the gap.

1. "A real Keystone Cops moment" We're starting with a real pet hate here. Has
anyone actually seen this movie or even so much as heard it referred to outside of the MotD studio?
Is it anything like Beverley Hills Ninja?

Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Swansea City Premier League 1st April 2012
After being on the good side of a gap between themselves and rivals Arsenals in the table for so
long, Tottenham have found themselves chasing the Gunners for third place in recent weeks.
Simmering in the euphoria at the moment and what better time, to hit out, than now on the back
of a such an awesome victory. (a l'AVB?) But before I do though Napoli such a good, good team. Huge
respect for them. Had we lost, they would definitely have been my surrogate club in the CL!
Alright let's get some things of my chest:
- All this talk about old guard boi they stepped up!
There has been plenty of news this past week following Arsenals impressive win over AC Milan.
We were so close to pulling off what before the match started seemed like an almost impossible
task of scoring five goals without a goal from Milan in order to progress into the last eight.
The first half was edge of the chair excitement I have not seen Arsenal play as well as that all
season, it was truly fantastic, and on that kind of form they could beat any team in the world.
After being involved in football and other sports for more years than I care to remember, I realize
there's something drastically wrong with the way the press has turned sports reporting into nothing
more than an ongoing soap opera. This is especially true in football with the recent rumours
regarding Germany's Lucas Podolski and Arsenals' Flying Dutchman Robin Van Persie.
The defeat against Arsenal over the weekend means that the Reds are now
ten points behind Arsenal in the race for the final Champions League qualification spot, but we
still do have a game in hand. Just by looking at the remaining fixtures to be played, Liverpool
have eight games against the sides who started this weekend in the bottom half of the table, with
three coming against clubs in the bottom four of the standings.
Arsene Wenger knows that Arsenal have a very tall order to come back from four goals down against
AC Milan on Tuesday, but after beating two top-quality teams like Tottenham and Liverpool he is
feelink much more confident that the Gunners can make up the difference. Yesterday he was reminded
that of Arsenals previous 19 [.
Adam Kemp – Tactically inept Arsenals pursuit of silverware ends typically with a gutless
display. Arsenal's humiliating FA Cup defeat to Sunderland depicts all the aspects surrounding
their lack mental resilience, confidence and overall quality. I was quick to criticize Arsenal
after another embarrassing defeat in Milan and still there were Wenger supporters refusing to [.
What a rough week I have had. My week was similar to Arsenals current form, depressing. Well
screw all that, we still had a great week of football. So let me give you a slightly over the top
review of the week that wasn't:
Arsenal
It was another dramatic week for the Gunners.
Benjamin Franklin once said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and
over and expecting different results. With this definition in mind events at the Emirates stadium
on Sunday could lead some Arsenal supporters to question the mental health of their manager.
Sunday 28th August 2011 will be a date forever etched on the minds of Arsenal and Manchester
United supporters alike, remembered with very differing degrees of fondness.
Well, what an incredibly frustrating ninety minutes that was. Upbeat start, good goal, cavalier
flicks, lucky equaliser, chances, chances, CHANCES, saves, saves, more ruddy saves and Wolves rode
their luck to a first point against Arsenal in the Premier League era. You couldn't fault the
team's effort, apart from a slight easing off in the first half, and I agree with Arsene when he
says that we would have won this game 19 times out of 20.
Arsenal v Stoke is a 1.30 Sunday kick off but non televised, due to both sides playing in Europe
mid week. Arsenal would have a more valid excuse if hung over after the tough trip to Marseille
whereas Stoke faced an easier match against Maccabi Tel Aviv at home. Arsenals home form this
season is [...
It is clearly evident that during recent months the red and white armoury has come under intense
pressure, with many even questioning whether "Arsene Wenger is the right man for Arsenal Football
Club?".
A few years ago such a question would have been responded with laughter, yet today critics and
many Arsenal fans find themselves pondering on the very thought of Arsenals greatest manager being
replaced.

dominates proceedings and scores great goals through wonderful football, and the one that cannot
defend properly.

The Swansea game wasn't the easiest to watch, I have to admit. We looked nervous at the back and
uncomfortable throughout the 90 minutes; in fact we looked like a team that was still struggling to
come to terms with having the absolute stuffing knocked out of us by one of our greatest rivals
which was fair enough.
Adequate is the word that I would use to describe Arsenals transfer window. It could have been
better but then again it could also have been worse. Watching the post match interview with Wenger
after our dismal Sunday last weekend left me feeling angry, deflated and pessimistic about our
future.
Here's the final installment of this Seasons Prem Wars trilogy sans the Lightsabres and Orks
although the Death star does get a mention. This is how I fancy the top tier of the English league
to look come May 2012. I'll also have a punt on the Champions League. Barcelona...no surprise there
then.
You can stick your Chelseas, Arsenals, Liverpools and 500 dollars for a take away with Manchester
Uniteds pro on holiday, Indonesia have out trumped the lot of them.
Jakarta is going to host a game featuring Indonesia and AC Milan early next month.
The official title is the Asia Disaster Relief Tour 2011 and the game will be between Top Skor
Indonesian All Star Legends and Milan Glorie.
There has been a recent large outlay of money for home grown players between English Clubs. In
many peoples view the money exchanged for certain players has been described as ‘excessive'.
Names including James Milner, Andy Carroll, Stewart Downing and Jordan Henderson have all crossed
the £20 million plus threshold.
Well there's a surprise! Despite Arsenal agreeing terms with Joel Campbell's club Deportivo
Saprrissa of just under £1m, the player himself has declined Arsenal's offer and has decided to
wait until after the U20 World Cup before deciding where his future lies. According to Sky Sports,
Man Utd also followed up Arsenals bid with an [.
Pre-season kicked off today with the Malaysia XI hosting Arsenal in our tour of Asia.

Manchester United and Liverpool have already made a big start to their summer spending with the
signings of Phil Jones £20 million Ashley Young £15M and Liverpool buying Jordan Henderson £20M.
This came on the day that we bought our first signing- no not a big name player but a 19 year old
from Charlton for £1 million.
The golden age is over! The likes of Gerrard, Lampard and Beckham are all in their 30's and
seemingly starting to feel the pace of the modern game. With such dependence on these key figure
heads in recent years who will come through and replace them? Has England learnt from previous
criticism over the lack of English players in the game and poor academy setups?

{What if Wenger says ‘Cela, Je Pars', that's it I am leaving}
It's August 2015, 4 seasons since Wenger was hounded out of his beloved Arsenal, by the Black
Scarf Brigade, after falling short of another trophy in a 6 year continual spell.
Gareth Bale may have been voted the PFA player of the year, but as always the decision was a
completely ludicrous one. Bale is an awesome talent no doubt, a total revelation but he won the
award purely because of ‘that' European performance against the reigning champions.
The decision was almost as baffling as the decision to award Ryan Giggs the same accolade last
year, who ironically has had one of his best seasons in a United shirt this season, adapting
effortlessly into central midfield.
Arsenal fans have been accused time and again of exhibiting extreme mood swings, and have been
widely scoffed at for the same. Now although I won't deny that we are a little cuckoo, laying the
entire blame of these mood swings on our mood swinging shoulders would be a tad unfair. The main
reason why we purr one week and PMS the next is because our team does the same.

It has certainly been a difficult 30 days for Arsene Wenger and his Arsenal team. Almost a month
ago to the day Arsene was, perhaps inadvisably, tipping his side for a possible quadruple after
overcoming Barcelona at the Emirates.
Today things are rather bleaker. Out of the four competitions they began February fighting for;
they are now down to one.
Fun fact: There are different types of pressing.
It could possibly seem common sense that the quicker the tempo the opposition attempts to play
the ball around, the quicker opposition should press. Which usually can work quite well, except
that Barcelona are far, far too good at keeping the ball, and exploiting the space left.
As a Leeds fan, and therefore Premier League ‘neutral' I enjoy nothing more than to see
Manchester United lose, so Sundays' news was well received. But it did come as a surprise
(unfortunately) that a side unbeaten in the league all season, couldn't manage to overturn
relegation candidates Wolves.
The Daily Mail is reporting today that former Middlesbrough and Arsenals striker Jeremie Aliadiere
has held talks with Newcastle United over a deal to sign for the club through the end of the
season. Jeremie Aliediere - in talks with Newcastle Newcastle have only two fit strikers at the
moment in Peter Lovenkrands and Nile [.
For the Gunners, a tale of two halves. Or more to the point, a tale of two Arsenals. Unstoppable
in the first and scoring at will to take a four to nothing lead. The game signed and sealed.
Walcott after 47 seconds, Van Persie with two goals, and Johan Djourou with his maiden goal. Or so
anyone sane would think.
After recently losing Nasri for up to 3 weeks it seems that Arsène Wenger may have another injured
player on his hands. Alex Song had to be taken off at half-time during Arsenals 2-1 win over
Everton. The defensive midfielder who has been in great form so far this season can not walk and
will [...]
