It hasn't been a terribly good weekend for Arsenal. Beaten at home by Tottenham Hotspur for the
first time in seventeen years yesterday lunchtime, their supporters had the rest of the day to take
stock of their recent patchy home form, and the confirmation that they will probably be the first
in the Premier League to be charged over £100 for a normal match day ticket seems unlikely to lift
their gloom.
Leaky Arsenal official website breaks news Sol Campbell is on the verge of sealing a deal with
Arsenal - but the club's website has jumped the gun by accidentally announcing the signing. A news
story on the Gunners' website said: "Sol Campbell is back at Arsenal. The 35-year-old has re-signed
for the Club he graced for five [.
I was just having a little nosey around the web (as you do when you can't sleep and it's 5:30 in
the morning!) and I came across an article in the official Arsenal website. It was an interview
with Arsene Wenger, and he was asked directly about Cesc Fabregas saying that he wanted to return

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has offered his explanation as to why England
performed so dismally against Germany in their World Cup second round tie last Sunday.
The 60-year-old, who has been moonlighting as a pundit for French television in South Africa,
believes that Fabio Capello's side were 'killed' by their own lack of patience as
they pressed in search of an equaliser and should have utilised their experience so as not to get
continually caught out on the counter-attack as a result.
The transfer of the Arsenal striker Eduardo to Shakhtar Donetsk still hasn't been formally
announced by the Arsenal website, but it is now common knowledge. The Croatian striker has been a
shadow of his former self since he returned from his broken leg, but after passing a rigorous
medical, Shakhtar coach Mircea Lucescu is hopeful [.
There has been alot of speculation in the media in the past few weeks with A.C Milan, Bayern
Munich, Juventus and Everton all being linked with Bendtner I suspected it was nothing more than
paper talk. Personally, I've always hoped Bendtner will stay put at Arsenal, being my favourite
player and knowing the potential he has, It looks as if Bendtner is determined to fight for his
place in that starting Arsenal XI.
What do you call a piece of news that's half expected and half unbelievable! When I saw the news
of Sol Campbell returning to Arsenal earlier in the day, I was quite skeptical and ignored it as
more media gibberish. Suddenly, a headline from the Arsenal website with Campbell's name popped up
as I realized this was for real.

The young Italian goalkeeper Vito Mannone has committed his long term future to Arsenal today. A
report released on the official Arsenal website said: "Young Italian goalkeeper Vito Mannone has
signed a new long-term contract. "The 21-year-old has already impressed for the first-team this
season, making eight appearances five in the Premier League and three in [.
The Arsenal website doesn't have much to offer today except this piece Diaby has improved
tremendously. I must say I completely agree with that article. At the start of the season I didn't
think of the lanky Frenchman as anything more than a squad player (My bad! But can you blame me?)
Over the last few months an increasingly fit Diaby has impressed on many levels.
I must start with the under 18's who had a good day on Saturday. What with the Hull fiasco and
the sacking of Phil Brown, I lost sight of another great result for the team that will one day be
our future. They beat a Milton Keynes reserves side 4-0 at home.
There's not much on the Arsenal website about the game, all it says is the kids went 11-points
clear at the top of Premier Academy League Group A with a 4-0 win
Benik Afobe bagged a quick couple of goals in the first half and Chuks Aneke made it 3-0 just
before the hour, substitute Josh Rees completed the scoring just before the final whistle.
So the news we all expected has been confirmed, our little magician Cesc is out for the rest
of the season. Gallas and Arshavin are out for three to four weeks so it's hardly good news for
us...
I am gutted, sad and peed off, you name it!!
Cesc himself said he was fine before the game against Barca and his injury would have happened
regardless.
The Arsenal physio, Colin Lewin, has done an extensive interview with the official Arsenal website,
and he is convinced that the Arsenal captain, Cesc Fabregas, will be okay to play for Spain in
South Africa this summer. Lewin said: "Cesc is doing well. He is likely to be out for the rest of
the season with [.
Again and again, rumors circulate that Cesc Fabregas is on his way out as far as playing in a
Gunners uniform goes. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger feels differently, however.
On the official Arsenal website, Wenger is quoted saying the following:
"Some people try to be specialists at making players unhappy," said the manager.
I was reading an article on the Arsenal Website in which RvP talks about the Tottenham game and
how the saves from Gomes made a difference. Towards the end he said a couple of lines that are the
perfect summary of this season.
Definitely, if you look at last year, no one really expected this.
It's been a long time coming but it seems that Arsenal have finally grown a big pair of
knackers!
I couldn't believe my eyes when scrolling through the Arsenal website I came across a page that
shows transfer links to the club.
It can be seen here.
This is a more unusual move than Tom Jones by Arsenal.
Yes it's true! Arsenal have signed an Irish international goalkeeper called Sean McDermott, but of
course in true Arsenal fashion he is only 17 years old. He was actually born in Norway, but has
represented the Republic of Ireland at U16 and U17 levels. It was announced on the official Arsenal
website with this statement: Arsenal [.
By Walter Broeckx What a great day this was. When I came home from work and went on the internet
and saw the Arsenal website I read some great news. It said over there that from this season on I
am going to be a Clockender. Ever since we come over with the Arsenal Benelux [...]
The official Arsenal website have finally confirmed that Eduardo has joined Shakhtar Donetsk,
despite it being common knowledge for the last couple of days. The Croatian striker scored an
impressive 20 goals in just 67 appearances for the Gunners, and they said nice things about him in
the official announcement, which ended: Eduardo's recovery from [.
Cesc Fabregas will not be going to Barcelona this summer. The Arsenal captain says he is
staying in North London will be 100 percent focused on the Gunners this season.
The North London club turned down two offers from the La Liga champions and manager Arsene
Wenger said repeatedly he wouldn't sell his star player, who still has five years left on his
contract.
I don't want anyone to get their knickers in a twist but is the official Arsenal website taking the
piss?
All summer long we have moaned (and rightly so) about the way Barcelona have conducted their
business in their chase for our skipper Cesc Fabregas.
Is it me or is this story on the site a tincy wincy little bit of double standards?
The Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski admitted that he is still fighting to be given the nod to
play against Liverpool next week, and he also revealed that Fabregas kept his team-mates guessing
when he arrived, and the rest of the squad weren't sure that he would stay until they saw it on the
Arsenal website!
According to Sevilla, Sebastien Squillaci will be traveling to London on Monday for a medical in
preparation for a permanent transfer to Arsenal.
A statement on their website read: "A transfer deal has been agreed, subject to the player
passing a medical."
An offer of £6.
Arsene Wenger seems to keep the faith with Andrei Arshavin, despite his form being indifferent at
best. Yes he has the occasional flash bit of footwork that comes off, but most of the time he seems
to be passing the ball to empty space or straight to an opponent. The official Arsenal website has
said that [.
Well here is an interesting story to come out of this weekends embarrassment by West Brom at home.
The official Arsenal website holds a weekly poll on the supporters Player-of-the-Week, and
obviously this week's winner just had to be Samir Nasri after his one-man attempt to save the
points, but no-one would have guessed that [.

The world of football can be a cut-throat business, with managers and chairmen constantly forced
to make difficult decisions which can affect a player or manager's whole career. Usually the bad
news is given face to face, with a quiet word in the gaffer's office or a friendly chat in the
boardroon.
LONDON, England Poland goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has signed a new long-term contract with
Arsenal. Szczesny, 20, said recently that he was frustrated at his lack of first-team opportunities
and was quoted earlier this month as saying he did not want to hold talks on an extension until he
was given a chance.
