Ther is lots of Arsenal transfer news about today, and the one that has shocked Arsenal fans the
most (from looking at the blogs) is the news that Sol Cambell has been signed on a temporary
contract until the end of the season. I have seen various figures relating to his paypacket, but it
seems [...]
The most interesting bit of Arsenal transfer news to come out of today's papers is the report in
the Sunday People that the Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has been in talks with Arsene Wenger
for the last few days about a possible switch for Ryan Babel. They say that Babel has turned down
offers from both [.
The ex-England manager Steve McClaren believes that he is close to coming to an arrangement with
Arsene Wenger to take the young Arsenal star Jack Wilshere to Holland on loan. His club, FC Twente,
are currently at the top of the Dutch Eredivisie and it would be great for Wilshere to be playing
for real honours [.
With Arsene Wenger revealing that injuries are taking their toll on his team, the papers are full
of Arsenal transfer news this morning. I have already covered the Phillipe Senderos to Celtic story
earlier, but there is another couple of bits of gossip around. The newest name to be bandied around
is the young Fulham defender [.
After the massive disappointment of losing out on Chris Smalling, when Man Utd trumped Arsenal's
offer for the youngster, Arsene Wenger must be feeling hard done by today. Smalling was due at Old
Trafford for his medical this morning, and if all went okay he is probably signing a contract at
Old Trafford as we [.
The Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger has alredy stated that he is definitely in the market for a striker
this month, but his long-time target Marouane Chamakh is definitely not an imminent arrival.
According to today's Arsenal transfer news in the Mirror, the Morrocan striker may not come this
month but is still a certainty to [.
The transfer window is upon us again, but all the Arsenal transfer news in the papers seem to be
concentrating on which players are NOT coming to the Emirates! I personally thought that
Andre-Pierre Gignac was the most likely striker to be moving to Arsenal, but the Mail is telling me
that Arsene Wenger doesn't think [.
The latest Arsenal transfer rumour says that both Arsenal and Man Utd have made enquiries about the
Porto striker known as the Hulk (real name Givanildo Vieira de Souza). It seems that his agent,
Teodoro Fonseca, has dropped a hint when he said: "The big clubs in England have been in contact.
They have asked [.
There is not much good news in the papers this morning regarding Arsenal players and targets, and
the first story has only confirmed my worst fears. While Arsene Wenger has been getting all the
youngsters in his squad to sign extended contracts this season, the talented Spanish midfielder
Fran Merida has resisted all the offers put [.
As I said in my earlier post, it would seem to me that Arsene Wenger is looking increasingly
unlikely to buy any more reinforcements for Arsenal this month, but there is still some transfer
gossip from other quarters, mostly concerning the West Ham striker Carlton Cole. This rumour
apparently originated in the Sun, who say that [.
We have a new piece of Arsenal transfer gossip this evening from the Times. They are saying that
Arsene Wenger is considering a move for the 6ft 8 inch Ivory Coast striker Lacina Traoré, who is
currently playing for CFR Cluj in Romania. Traore is only 19 years old, but his size and strength
has already gained [.
There has been a lot of Arsenal transfer gossip in the last couple of weeks, but the Argentina
striker Mauro Zarate has never been mentioned in any of them. Zarate was on loan at Birmingham a
couple of seasons ago, but they couldn't afford the full transfer fee and he was snapped up by
Lazio. After [.
As the transfer window progresses, the Arsenal transfer gossip in the papers is becoming more and
more outlandish! Absolutely every single paper is spouting the rumour that Arsenal are considering
a swap with Real Madrid involving Cesc Fabregas and Gonzalo Higuain. Admittedly the Argentinian
striker is a class act, but how many denials is it [.
Owen Coyle's old club Burnley have made no secret of the fact that they are trying to presuade
Arsene Wenger to let the Arsenal youngster Jack Wilshere move to Turf Moor on loan this month, but
now it has been revealed that Coyle is now trying to hijack the move with his new club Bolton.
Today's [...
The veteran Everton striker Louis Saha has found a new lease of life since joining David Moyes at
Goodison Park, but his contract is nearing its close, and the Frenchman is now free to talk to
other clubs about a contract for next season. According to the Express, there are numerous rumours
being repeated on Merseyside [.
The Lazio striker Mauro Zarate, who has been strongly linked with Arsenal this week, has made
public the fact that he has no intention of working with the Lazio coach Davide Ballardini if he is
to stay at the Italian giants. Last week Ballardini publicly lambasted Zarate even though his team
beat Livorno 4-1.
The Lille midfielder Eden Hazard has been linked with Arsenal for (what seems like) ages now, and
there are quotes going around that he has admitted that he has "a dream" to play for either Arsenal
or Real Madrid. Here is the quote: "Real Madrid and Arsenal are the clubs I dreamed of joining as a

Can you believe the audacity of Harry Redknapp? According to reports from Italy this morning, the
Tottenham manager has sent representatives to Italy to negotiate for the purchase of the ex-Arsenal
star Mathieu Flamini. After arriving at AC Milan on a free transfer in 2008, Flamini has not been
able to make the breakthrough into [.
It is being reported this morning that Arsenal have signed the Bolivian youngster Samuel Galindo,
who originally flew to England to have a trial with Everton! The 17 year-old is reported to be
extremely talented, and has already captained his country's U21 side. It was reported in the Mirror
that he had joined the Everton team for [.
There is not quite so much Arsenal transfer news in the papers today after the flurry of activity
recently (Two signings! Wow!) but there is news about another possible wonderkid on the horizon,
Having bought the Bolivian lad Samuel Galindo, it seems that Arsenal will now have to park him
somewhere while they work on getting [.
The Arsenal transfer news today is a little thin on the ground, but there is one definite out-going
young Gunner. Mark Randall has been confirmed as moving to the MK Dons on loan until the end of the
season. The official Arsenal site annnounced: Young midfielder Mark Randall has joined League One
side Milton Keynes Dons [.
As usual the Sunday papers haven't let us down in the Arsenal transfer gossip stakes, and we even
have a couple of new names to take to the table. The 20 year-old Lyon midfielder Maxime Gonalons
is considered to be one of Frances most promising youngsters, and fits the mould of a possible
Wenger signing.
After all the rumours surrounding the Arsenal defender Phillipe Senderos linking him with Everton
and Real Zaragoza amongst a host of other clubs, it now seems that the Scottish giants Celtic are
set to pip their great rivals Rangers to the Switzerland international's signature. According to
today's Scottish Sun, the Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell spent [.
The Arsenal transfer gossip is gathering pace as it has just been revealed that the North London
club have been in serious discussions with Sergio Canales agent (and father) regarding a possible
move to the Emirates. The Mail reports that Gelo Canales was in London yesterday (Monday) to meet
representatives of Arsenal with the express desire [.
There has been an interesting day regarding Arsenal transfer news, but to be honest, none of it
sounds promising. The news that Sergio Canales father (and agent) met with Arsenal representatives
is just about the only hope I have that there could be a good signing to come in the next couple of
weeks.
The Phillipe Senderos saga continues to fascinate the papers on the day that Arsenal go top of the
League. Arsene Wenger admitted yesterday that Celtic was a possible destination for the Switzerland
defender, but the player himself decided to hold out for a better offer from a bigger team (Bigger
than Celtic?
The transfer gossip regarding Arsenal doesn't seem to be letting up, despite Arsene Wenger
admitting that he hardly has time to consider new arrivals with the amount of games coming in thick
and fast, but that hasn't stopped the speculation in the papers. The big story yesterday was that
Arsenal had made a £7m bid for [.
According to a report this morning from the Liverpool Echo, the Arsenal defender Phillipe Senderos
is close to securing his desired move away from the Emirates. They report that talks are at an
advanced stage and the Switzerland internatonal will become David Moyes second signing of this
transfer window after the Ameican striker Landon Donovan [.
The Switzerland defender Phillipe Senderos seems to have sealed his move to Everton as I foretold
in last nights Senderos post, and it was confirmed today on the Everton website. Their statement
said: "Everton and Arsenal have agreed a deal to bring Swiss international defender Philippe
Senderos to Goodison Park," "The formalities of the transfer will [.
The biggest Arsenal transfer rumour this morning comes from the Daily Star, who reckon that the
Gunners are still trying to persuade AC Milan to allow Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to come to the Emirates
for the rest of the season, as he is struggling to get a game at the San Siro. They think that
Arsenal's biggest [.
Even with the big game against Man utd coming up tomorrow, the papers are still full of Arsenal
transfer news. Almost everyone has reported that Jack Wilshere has chosen Bolton as his destination

A few [.
