Dynamo Kiev goalkeeper Maxim Koval.
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal are interested in 23-year-old
Ajax defender Jan Vertonghen. However it is reported that
Barcelona and Juventus have also been scouting Vertonghen.
According to Barcelona's official website, Barcelona sporting director
Andoni Zubizarreta confirmed how much the club offered for
Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano and
Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
According to Darren Lewis at MirrorFootball, Fulham goalkeeper Mark
Schwarzer can sign a pre-contract in January with a new team as his current contract
expires at the end of the season. Arsenal was linked with the 37-year-old
throughout the summer.
According to Paul Warburton at the Fulham Chronicle, Fulham hope to sign
goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer, who had been strongly linked with
Arsenal, to a new deal. Manager Mark Hughes said,
"We weren't and aren't prepared to take money for Mark – he's too important for that .
According to The Telegraph, Arsenal have made a record £56million in pre-tax
profits and they have paid off all of their debts on the Highbury Square development. Arsenal chief
