According to Fulham's official website, Fulham goalkeeper Mark
Schwarzer has signed a new two-year deal with the club.
Schwarzer had been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal throughout the
summer.
According to the London Evening Standard, Arsenal are prepared to sell
goalkeeper Manual Almunia for around £1.5million next month. It is reported that
Malaga and Atletico Madrid are both interested.

According to Peter O'Rourke at Sky Sports News, Arsenal striker Nicklas
Bendtner plans on staying with the club despite rumors that he would be leaving in
January. Bendtner said,
"I won't be loaned out ... That's not going to happen ... I've got the patience to wait until I
get the chance.
