Gunners, waiting for Götze? No longer, Thomas Eisfeld, 19 years old, who's supposed to be even
more Götze than Mario Götze and comes from the same club arrives at the Emirates for a princely
sum of £420,000. Which means dear Gunners, if you're waiting for the real thing, you're doing it
at your own hazard.

In which Carlos Vela, formerly of the Arsenal reserves and now on loan at Real Sociedad, is
shunted over on the touchline by Sporting Gijon's Alejandro Galvez during the former club's 5-1
routing of the latter on Sunday evening which, all-in-all, wouldn't have been too much of an issue
had the linesman not been 'keeping up with the play' quite so admirably.

As Arsenal captain, even your hair has to be neat
Two things got me to write this topic today. First, I'm at the moment in the middle of reading
Alex Flynn's "Arsènal The Making of a Modern Superclub" and I'm currently at the chapter which
speaks about the behaviour of a certain William Gallas after the 2-2 draw at Birmingham.
Nicklas Bendtner is showing some frightening form for his International side Denmark at present,
In a poor first half for the Dane's the game had a typical friendly feeling to the game, with both
sides not in top gear and happy just to keep ball at times. N.B didn't really get that much
involved in the first half and was having a quiet game, but was willing to come deep and link play
with the attacking midfielders of Denmark.
The two Scandinavian's ( N.B-52 + Seb Larsson) were both arguably their countries pin up hero's
last week, with featured player Nicklas Bendtner getting the winner and his 15th International goal
for Denmark to send them top of their group ahead of an strong Portugal side boasting the likes of
Cristiano Ronaldo, Luiz Nani and R.
Robin van Persie has tipped Arsenal youngster Ryo Miyaichi to achieve greatness at the club
given the Japanese starlet's work ethic and positive attitude towards the game.
Van Persie watched from the sidelines as Miyaichi and the rest of Arsenal's Carling Cup squad
defeated Shrewsbury Town 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium but even before the kick-off, he only had good
things to say about his prodigal teammate.
Arsenal Reserves coach Neil Banfield believes Ignasi Miquel deserved to be rewarded with first-team
action last season after doing so well for the reserves side. Speaking to Arsenal Player, the
Englishman explained that the Spaniard took ...
I made a video compilation of NB52′s best moment for The Arsenal Reserves, Birmingham City (
Loan period ) and The Arsenal first team. It's not the greatest quality but its my first time
making a video. There's alot of unseen footage here check it out ! . . .
A bit of good news on the injury front. Djourou seems to be making good progress and could be
available for our game against Liverpool at the Emirates on the 17th. Wenger also confirmed after
the Blackburn match that Theo and Nasri will be fine despite getting a couple of knocks. Cesc
Fabregas was involved in a minor car accident yesterday, but reports say he is fine and showed up
to training as usual.
It's hard to decide sometimes when the British press are exaggerating stories to sell more
newspapers. But when I read earlier this week that Jens Lehmann had a woeful performance for
Arsenal reserves, I questioned how true those words were. Now,...

And then there was one. Admittedly the shiniest, most prestigious looker in the bunch, but
having stumbled out of three competitions in fourteen days, it still feels somewhat deflating. If
one more po-faced twat accosts me with "ooooh, you lot were talking about the quadruple two weeks
ago" I think I'll hack liberally at his testes with vinegar soaked razor blades.
Thousands of undiscovered footballers from around the world have been competing for a contract
with the Nike Academy 2011/12. Nike will provide a full season learning from top-level coaches and
playing in front of Premier League scouts in the UK.
The final 100 players will shortly be pared down to the eight winners.
Tumbling is not the way to go for big Nick
There's not much to go on about today. That title is true but only extend to the Arsenal
reserves team. We were at the end of a 10-1 drubbing. That is a side which includes a slightly more
experienced duo in Craig Eastmond and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas. No matter which way you look at it,
being beaten by 9 goals is not good regardless of the level of competition.
