Arsenal striker Robin van Persie confessed the Arsenal players spoke about last season's
disappointing 2-2 draw at Upton Park during last Saturday's half-time. The Dutchman was on target
when the two teams faced each other in ...
Arsene Wenger has talked a lot about tackling. Invariably the discussion gets hijacked by
clueless hacks and pundits who convert that into an Arsenal V Rest of the League debate and take
pride in highlighting one or two poor tackles by Arsenal players.
According to a number of morons who have the privilege of influencing public opinion, Arsenal
are just as bad as any other team when it comes to tackling.
Another day at Manchester City's training ground, another bust up. Former Arsenal players, Kolo
Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor, had to be dragged apart by their team mates, with another former Goon,
Patrick Vieira, giving Adebayor a talking to.
But this is totally normal, k? This happens on training grounds up and down the country
every day, alright?
Not quite the game I wanted to see and certainly not the result.
Leeds United came with a plan and stuck to it. In some ways it was similar to what Newcastle did
at the Emirates. The visitors went tight on each man and reduced the passing options. They pressed
well and in coordination. The Arsenal players were able to move the ball at the back but weren't
able to penetrate the lines with any sort of consistency.
For anyone who might have missed it, Theo Walcott had this to say after Arsenal's FA Cup third
round match against Leeds:
"I want to apologise to the managers because I actually dived. I was trying to win the
penalty.
"I had a little joke with the referee afterwards saying ‘that was my first dive, can you
tell?
No it's not a misspelling, but I will take the opportunity to wish all Arsenal supporters
everywhere a Very Happy New Year. And to all those of you who
Yearn for silverware and titles, I offer these words of comfort.......
The season is half over. We've done well; we're 2 points off the top of the table in 3rd
place.
How many bust-ups has Roberto Mancini had to deal with in his time at Manchester City? I stopped
counting at 3421.
It seems every week that the Italian has to deal with yet another spat between his players. To me
it appears there are too many big time charlies at Eastlands with massive egos.
Will have to find some way to chip back into Wenger's good books
Let me start by saying that Jamie Redknapp is an idiot. He's father is a twitch, the son an
idiot. I'm sure somewhere last season or the season before, he was questioning the credibility of
Arsenal's defence. The same defence that had William Gallas.
Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor being separated by teammatesThere has been much criticism aimed
towards Roberto Mancini's Manchester City. Although the Italian has guided City to third in the
Premier League table, he still has a lot of work to do. This hectic month is the window for City to
get rid of a few problems, and buy a talented Bosnian forward.

By now everyone must have read Theo Walcott's apology for a ‘dive' against Leeds. The reaction
that I've read has been mixed. Some people just needed an excuse for Arsenal bashing, others
including yours truly thought it was a silly thing to say, but there were also those who found this
act praiseworthy.

Remember The Jetsons? How it was considered a realistic representation of the future, how we all
thought the future would involve driving around in hover cars with robot cleaners to do the

We all want to see the Rosicky that can play for any team in the world
Mentality will be the key here as Arsenal prepares to face Ipswich Town at Portman Road in the
first leg of the Carling Cup semifinal. Which is a strange thing for me as I seemed to recall us
breezing past lower opposition in this competition with our reserve league side that comprised one
or two internationals.
It has been a while since we had any Guest Posts, but here is one from Ahmed, who is worried about
the development of two Arsenal players that are just outside the first team......... While it is
much publicized that the Gunners need some experience at the back I wanted to address an experience
issue in [.
Positive team selection. Aggressive, hungry performance. Big result.
When I saw RvP in the starting line-up I knew Arsenal are going for it no holds barred. Arsene
only made 3 changes to the side that dismantled Wigan a few days earlier. The two wide attacking
players Nasri and Walcott were rested.
