El jueves a las 11:00 horas tiempo del centro de México, presenciaremos la gran fina de

monarcas, serán quienes entren mañana se enfrenten en una batalla épica.
It's Futbolita Friday your Weekly Women's Football Round up, presented by
Arsenal's Emma Byrne! (left)
The smile on Emma's face says it all the ladies were thrilled to be back at the Emirates
yesterday, basking in their glorious 3-1 win over Chelsea in the Women's Super League.
FFC Frankfurt have qualified for next month's Champions League final in Munich after beating
Arsenal 2-0 on Saturday. When Fatmire Bajramaj (see below) brought her fancy bag to the pitch, her
teammates couldn't resist testing it out. LADIES, time for some shopping to celebrate, perhaps?! /

It's our Weekly Women's round up again and the focus this week is on the
DFB or German Cup Final scheduled to take place in Cologne on May
12! Bayern Munich and FFC Frankfurt are set to face off against each other for the title and
interestingly, it is Frankfurt's twelfth time in the final.
The FA Womens Super League (FA WSL) gets underway again this weekend with the Arsenal Ladies
trying to retain the title they won last year. There will be eight teams in this summer's league:
Arsenal, Birmingham City, Bristol Academy, Chelsea, Doncaster Rovers Belles, Everton, Lincoln
Ladies, and Liverpool.

Tajonar.
Welcome to your Weekly Football wrap! From the looks of it, the
Valencianos are all ready to celebrate their traditional Fallas festival
by burning these "ninots" (puppets) of Jose Mourinho and
Barca's assistant coach, Tito Vilanova at the celebration on March 19.
You're looking at Munich's Olympiastadion, which will be the host to the Women's
European Champions League Finale on May 17! The Olympiastadion was built for 1972 Olympics and it
also hosted the 1974 FIFA World Cup Final. You may not recognize it because none of the games from
the 2006 World Cup tournament were played there.
Games come thick and fast at this time of the year and this
evening's match against Fulham follows hot on the heels of Saturday's one nil win at home to
QPR.
Founded in 1879 Fulham Football Club are the oldest professional
team in London.
In case you haven't seen this clip of Mario Balotelli scaring the socks off one
of Man City's club personnel, here you go! Poor woman must've had the shock of her
life... but we can't stop laughing. Is that bad? We have a feeling some of the ladies working at
City are the subject of an unfair amount of pranks, but it still makes for fantastic TV!
We all know that Real Madrid have a history of respected Portuguese legends
within their ranks, but none of them dared to wear a Bath Robe onto the pitch
like Atletico's Paulo Futre (above) did in the 80′s! You can only imagine the
look on Alfredo di Stefano's face if Fabio Coentrao were to try
something like this in after the match today.

Please enjoy these photos of the Arsenal pre-school unit on an outing to Borehamwood to watch
Arsenal Ladies play Rayo Vallecano. The game, which the Gunners won 5-1, puts them through to the
quarter finals of the competition, and prompted some immensely cute Twitter fan-boying by the
pups.

My coverage of the Arsenal Ladies team is erratic I know, but I do try to cover their games
[.
The U.S. WNT players did a lot of different and fun stuff on their six-week breaks before the team
opens camp this Monday in Arizona, but only one of them traveled to a different country to support
their favorite club.
That would be Tobin Heath, the U.S. WNT resident soccer junky, who traveled with best buddy and Sky
Blue FC teammate Casey Nogueira to London to take in an Arsenal match at The Emirates.
Automotive car giant, Toyota Motor Corporation has signed on to become the official sponsor of the
Japan Women's Football League. The agreement, which began this month, will be active until March
2013. As the official sponsor of the Nadeshiko League, the collective name of the Plenus National
League and Plenus Challenge League, Toyota Motor Company's name will be front and center when
Arsenal Ladies makes its first appearance in Japan against the Nadeshiko League champions in the
Toyota Vitz Cup on November 30th.

Some time ago I wrote a post about my best ever Arsenal Eleven, I think it was during another
interlull, or maybe the phoney window. I promised a post for Peaches and without anything new to
write about I have decided to kind of rehash that premise. Someone mentioned recently that a better
use for cloning Dolly the Sheep would have been to clone Tony Adams.
The men aren't doing so well but you've gotta love the spirit of Arsenal's Futbolitas - winners
of the FA WSL Continental Cup Final! /via Daylife

Hello Gooners, my good friends. I've come to talk with you again. The fusty old cobwebs of the
international break have been well and truly blown away with vengeance. Swivelling the old noggin
and casting my eye back over the last 7 days, I've taken in a Premier League home game, an Arsenal
Ladies match, an Arsenal Supporters' Trust meeting and a trip to Germany for a Champions League
encounter.
Walter Broeckx looks at yet another triumph for Arsenal Ladies Who suffered the most of the defeat

That's how you do it While Arsenal were getting whipped 8-2 at Old Trafford last weekend, Arsenal
Ladies were winning 3-1 at Liverpool Ladies to lift the inaugural Women's Super League title. The
Gunners girls had previously won seven successive Premier League titles, meaning they have won a
trophy every season since the men's team [.
The Female Of The Species Arsenal 2-0 Bristol Academy (21:05:11) To our eternal shame, we've yet to
feature the women's game here on European Football Weekends - until now. Putting that to rights is
Ryan Keaney, Editor of The First Eleven who had the pleasure of visiting The FA Women's Cup Final
in Coventry.
After suffering a horrible defeat on the weekend I decided that I needed to step back from
everything and have a breather. Martin is currently drowning in a sea of papers wondering what
possessed him to become a lawyer and I have been filling in some of the blanks of my own life while
the world of Arsenal continues to turn.
By Tony Attwood It's been not so much of a funny old game as a funny old season. Arsenal Ladies
played their first league match yesterday (April 13) in the new super league and beat Chelsea.

Goodbye Danny Fiszman
The sad, but not unexpected news that Danny Fiszman has died, aged 66, comes just days after he
sold his shares, and with them control of Arsenal, to Stan Kroenke.
Like Kroenke, he was not the kind of man who courted publicity, preferring to operate in the
background.
The year 2011 is set up to be a big one in women's football. The UEFA Women's Champions League
Final will be held at Craven Cottage on May 26. The FIFA Women's World Cup will be held in Germany
and begins on June 26. Last, but not least, the new FA Women's Super League is being launched today
and our very own Arsenal Ladies team will be involved in the opening game.

The last time a Kickette staff member attempted to set foot on grass without a safety harness
and/or assistant, she suffered an excruciating panic attack due to heel sinkage and had to be
resuscitated by a nubile young park keeper who just happened to be standing by.
I hope that clip of Cesc in the new Spanish film Torrente 4 has you prepared for the
randomness that will be today's blog post.
What better place to start than on Arsenal goalkeepers? Jens Lehmann made his triumphant Arsenal
return with the Reserves team who played Wigan today.
Thought I'd give everyone some general updates during this interlull that we are all currently
enjoying. I'm sure Martin would give some more updates, but he is preparing himself for a weekend
boozefest, so you'll be seeing a lot of me around.
First of all, Bendtner is injured. Yay!
