Arsenal was once the quintessential English football club, with its impressive marble hallways at
Highbury stadium and high-tempo football on the playing field. Highbury has now been replaced by
the modern Emirates Stadium, while Arsene Wenger has the club playing some of the most stylish
passing football in Europe.

Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has been ruled out for three weeks after, once
again, twanging that darn hamstring during the Gunners' Premier League game with Sunderland on
Saturday.
Fabregas, who now joins Theo Walcott, Robin Van Persie and
Nicklas Bendtner on Arsenal's growing list of crocks, was forced to limp off the
field with barely half-an-hour of the game played, having already fortuitously opening the scoring
in the 12th minute.
It may only be early in the season, but we have already approached a major fork in the road, and
one that might have a significant bearing on the fortunes of Arsenal football club. To a man I
believe all Gooners would agree that up until the West Brom debacle it has been a quite wonderful,
albeit facile start to the season.
Arsenal supporters could blame Shay Given for their club's inability to sign a much-needed
goalkeeper in the summer transfer window, but I really feel the blame needs to be aimed squarely at
the shoulders of Arsenal Football Club. They needed to have a Plan B in place. They did not.
20/20 design firm is continuing their work with Arsenal to improve the fan

Champions League experience but they showed they're not a team to be taken lightly as they defeated
Sevilla in the final qualifying round.
Ever since the vote on the UEFA Financial Fair Play Regulations there has been an ongoing debate
about the impact they'll have on clubs. There seem to be three broad opinions; the new regulations
will change the world of football, the new regulations will have some impact, and there will be no
impact whatsoever.
I suppose it's symptomatic of the football world we live in that Arsenal can win a game 6-0,
playing some truly beautiful football, and the headlines are all about how Arsene Wenger is tricksy
and mean and how Cesc Fabregas didn't celebrate his goals enough.
Regarding the first, anything Sam Allardyce says can be dismissed as the rantings of a ignoramus
and Goodplaya excellently sums up his latest verbal vomit.
