Arsenal Football Club launched their redesigned official club website this morning, and boy is it different. While the previous design was sleek, the new one is much simpler and more closely resembles a typical football website we've grown accustomed to especially with the placement of the left and top navigation bars.

Cesc Fabregas is a most excellent young man. We know that already. He's not your run of the mill footballer. He's intelligent, considerate and genuinely loves Arsenal football club. You can see it when he scores a goal in a big match or in how upset he is when we lose.

Speaking to Radio Catalunya Cesc came to the 'defence' of Arsenal in light of what has been fairly non-stop campaign to unsettle Arsenal players in the Catalan press and media.

I moved to Denver from Washington, DC when I was eleven. I left for school at 18 and have been slowly transitioning into a Seattleite ever since (something that I think is finally just about completed now that I have a full-time job, an apartment, and the ability to bitch about the heat when it gets past 85).

Doomsday has arrived. At least that's what a lot of you seem to think, that the start of the season is a horrible time because Arsenal haven't strengthened enough and we'll never win another trophy. Personally though I'm really happy the real matches start tomorrow evening. We've got the 3rd round Champions League match versus FC Twente of the Dutch league, who are managed by Steve Mcclaren.

Le Boss intends to bolster the midfield for the forth coming season. With Gilberto and Flamini departing over the summer, the centre of midfield is an area that needs strengthening.
"We will need one more body in there," said Wenger when asked about his midfield. "At the moment we do not have Alex Song who is going to the Olympic games, Abou Diaby was not here tonight and nor was Fabregas.

Morning all. Not a lot of news following the demolition of Burgenland yesterday. Cesc Fabregas came out and killed off anyone saying that he was going to Real Madrid, in fact saying that he made no statement about Madrid at all. Good work from Cesc yet again. I think he does everything well, football, handling the press, his hair, etc.

Good morning,

today's blog comes to you with a slight midweek *boilk* as it was Blogette's birthday last night. She's 17 now. This is not good. It's much easier to own a 10 year old or a 14 year old. 17 year olds think they have rights and want to be treated like an adult and stuff.

So pre-season kicked off with a 2-1 win over Barnet yesterday.

We were losing 1-0 at half-time then changed the entire team around and goals from Jay Simpson and Nacer Barazite secured the win. There really is nothing much to be read into a friendly at this stage but one or two of the younger players caught the eye apparently, Jack Wilshere in particular looking rather good.

My blood bleeds red and white, the same as the next Gooner's. I love the club and always will through the good times and the bad. True, I've found it hard to accept that the squad hasn't been strengthened but that is the situation and I'm gonna have to deal with it.
I want the club to do well so it deserves my support.

Morning all, or afternoon or whatever it is where you are. Yesterday was a miserable day for us. I'm sure you read my rant about Captain Gallas, and that about summed up my feelings for the day. Gallas shouldn't be playing at all and Eboue shouldn't have to play central midfield. Robin van Persie seems to have forgotten how to score and overall the whole thing was bloody awful.

Tottenham's recent problems are down to one mane and one man only Wenger.   It is no secret that over the years Arsenal Football Club has been trying to undermine the North London rivals, from moving to their own "backyard", to having a station renamed after the club, Arsenal have been getting under Tottenham's skin.
