So, which club do you think has the biggest fan following? Some would say Manchester United, others would say Real Madrid and a few would even say Bayern Munich. There isn't really a way to find out the exact number of fans of a specific football club... Or is there?

Maybe Facebook can give us a good sample for our "research".

Harry Redknapp, while taking a nap on a recent flight, was pranked by an Arsenal supporter who snapped this candid photograph of him holding up an Arsenal notepad in front of his face.

Knowing Redknapp's track record of telling a Sky Sports reporter to f*** off, I'm show the Arsenal supporter would have met a similar fate if ‘ol Harry would have woken up to see a bloke holding a piece of paper in front of his face.

The boss hates the new squad limit rules it has been well publicised and I agree with him. But, how brilliantly has he stuffed their new rules down their throats it is rather spectacular...

Arsenal have named seventy players in their squad list to the FA, and none of the 20 are English:

Manuel Almunia, Andrey Arshavin, Nicklas Bendtner, Marouane Chamakh, Gael Clichy, Denilson, Vassiriki Abou Diaby, Johan Djourou, Emmanuel Eboue, Lukasz Fabianski, Cesc Fabregas, Laurent Koscielny, Vito Mannone, Samir Nasri, Tomas Rosicky, Bacary Sagna, Alex Song, Robin Van Persie, Thomas Vermaelen, Sebastien Squillaci.

Young Arsenal frontman Carlos Vela was introduced for his good friend Giovani Dos Santos with just 17 minutes on the clock in Mexico's one nil drama victory over South American outfit Colombia.

That makes sure for Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger that the 21 years old will come back to London without any knock and injury, so that he will be available for Saturday's Premier League encounter with the Bolton Wanderers at Emirates Stadium.

There really is little else around so I thought I'd reflect on the start to the season, and one player in particular who looks re-born -Tomas Rosicky

This summer he was close to leaving, not of his own will I hastily add, but there has always been big interest from Germany in him but Werder Bremen and Everton both inquired over his availability as Arsenal were pursuing defenders from both the clubs, Phil Jagielka and Per Mertesacker were the targets on the Arsenal side.

So, Theo Walcott must be dropped from the England set-up immediately. He is the sole reason why England did not win the World Cup.

He can't pass or shoot and doesn't have a football brain.

It is Arsenal's fault for destroying a young talent who has clearly not lived up to his potential, he can't even control a long-range pass from Steven Gerrard.

Young 21 years old Arsenal forward Carlos Vela has a really unpredicted opportunity now to shine for Arsene Wenger's Gunners side in the next weeks.

Vela has missed out so far to earn a starting place for the Premier League side, but with a few players injured actually including Robin van Persie (6 Weeks), Theo Walcott (4-6 weeks), Nicklas Bendtner (3-4 weeks) as well as Andrey Arshavin in poor form, the Mexican will definitely get his chance to join the Arsenal boat for the title race.

I was at the Emirates last night to witness the dismantling of a team who I thought would put up a bigger fight then again, Arsenal simply cut through them like a hot knife through butter.

Marouane Chamakh is the best natural forward we have had at the club for a long time, he is pure center forward, hard working, holds the ball up very well, a brilliant first touch a defenders nightmare.

I have been provided with every answer Arsene Wenger gave at this evenings shareholders Q&A. For easiness of reading I am going to split it into three articles and pick out the most important bits, leaving out the stupid questions that just waste mine and your time.

_ _

Before the first question was even asked Bob Wilson encouraged Arsene to say a few words to the shareholders about his new contract and just talk about how he finds being at the club right now, Wenger described how 'this is the club I love' and how all his energy is channelled into doing the very best he can; "I dedicate all my energy to the club".

Most media outlets are reporting that Arsene Wenger pushed an assistant referee and will be charged.

However, I'm told that this is not the case and he is in fact in trouble for patting the official on the back in a sarcastic manner.

It sounds pretty ridiculous but his manner in recent times has become more and more fraught on the touchline, especially when things are not going Arsenal's way.

When Kieran Gibbs hobbled off the pitch minus his football boot during extra time last night, it was clear what was wrong with him.

It is thought that Arsenal are pretty certain that he has suffered a broken metatarsal, the bone in question being the second metatarsal on his left foot. Last November he suffered a badly broken third metatarsal on the same foot after a nasty challenge on him in the dying moments of the game against Standard Liege he duly missed most of last season.

Yes, a second post today. Feel special, very special.

It seems that Arsenal are set to add to their backroom staff with Swedish fitness coach Marcus Svensson, it looks like the club were in quite a fight for his services too. He will be Tony Colbert's 'assistant fitness coach' and speaking to a Swedish paper said that he hadn't accepted the offer yet, but will do soon:

"I have not taken the job yet, it will probably take about a week before it completed"

He is hardly a star studded appointment, he has bore witness to the training ground delights of Preston, Derby, Rochdale and Notts County but beat 376 applicants, it is claimed.

Injuries are always going to happen, but I'd much rather they happen now than a few months down the line.

If we are lucky Theo will just miss this weekends game against Bolton at home which is no real biggie, Robin van Persie will be missing for Bolton, Braga, Sunderland, Spurs, West Brom, Belgrade, Chelsea and Birmingham the majority of them we can survive without him.

They say bad things come in three's

  • Robin van Persie
  • Theo Walcott
  • Thomas Vermaelen

Three important players have not survived the international break, again, leaving us with two new defenders to face Kevin 'elbows' Davies. Apparently it is an achilles injury that Vermaelen has suffered and it is likely he will be back for Braga but it means that Sebastian Squillaci and Laurent Koscielny will have a tricky afternoon tomorrow, there are plenty easier players to play against than Davies.

Just a fairly quick blog today before I'm off to London to see the game tonight.

Arsene Wenger has been speaking about bad tackles and it is clear nobody wants to listen to his views on it any-more. The media have continuously made out that every time he speaks about them (because they ask him his thoughts), they paint it as if he is just having a moan.
