The back pages of the newspapers write about it, every football website worth its salt writes about
it and every Arsenal fan knows about it. Arsene Wenger is looking at the two players who can make
the difference with this Arsenal side – Mario Gotze and Eden Hazard. Some Arsenal fans think that
both of [.

The world of football has changed in so many ways since first I clambered up the steps at
Highbury and looked down in awe at the scene before me; an oblong of green set at the bottom of a
man made bowl, the concrete sides towering above it. There it was the home of my schoolboy dreams,
the canvass on which I had for all my growing years drawn in my mind's eye the daring deeds which
I, "Roy of the Arsenal" had performed heroically, defeating all and sundry with magical skills and
wondrous last minute goals.
One of the more interesting rumors of the holiday season in Europe surrounds Thierry Henry's
potential return to Arsenal on a short-term loan in January. Nobody at Arsenal is publicly
admitting it is in the works (Arsene Wenger said he has yet decide whether to pursue it), and there
is no guarantee that the New York Red Bulls would be willing to let their star player go on a loan,
but the idea remains an intriguing one.
Postcard from Poland: Why Arsenal fans at Euro 2012 will feel right at home in Warsaw's
national stadium
England fans have been invited to the biggest Fan Zone in history at Euro 2012. Defilad Square
in the centre of Warsaw is ready to host up to 120,000 supporters from all over the continent
during next summer's month-long tournament.

I wrote a piece about people leaving our home games early earlier this week, and it looks like
I'm not the only one to notice the lack of support shown in the stadium. This week REDaction held a
meeting with AFC representatives before the Carling Cup tie versus Manchester City at Emirates.

It is fair to say that most Arsenal fans would have settled for a scrappy 3-2 win and three points
in any given away match at the start of the season. They would for good reason too – Arsenal were
notorious for failing to grab points away from home since the start of the calendar [...]

This is simply brilliant. From Talksport:
Samir Nasri has hit back at critics of his mega-money move to Man City by blasting Arsenal for
failing to provide the Europa League football he craved.
Nasri, who was criticised by Arsenal fans and labelled a mercenary when he left for Man City in
the summer, feels vindicated following the 2-0 victory over Bayern Munich that helped Man City
finish ten points above Villarreal to qualify for the Europa League's last 32.

Just a short year ago the majority of Arsenal fans opinion on Robin van Persie could likely be
summed up as, "Great technique, but a crock" or simply "A luxury player". Even the Dutchman's most
ardent supporters (me) would have had difficulty arguing the point convincingly because well... he
was a crock and rarely was fit enough to prove to all his worth.

Fan's of Arsenal and Chelsea will be hoping for a Michael Cainesque Italian Job if they
are to enter the heady heights of a Champions League quarter-final.
Arsenal, who topped their group, were drawn against 7-time European Champions AC Milan, in a
repeat fixture to that of the 2008 CL round of 16, where, after a 0-0 draw at the Emirates Stadium
in the first leg, Arsenal travelled to the San Siro to silence the home crowd with a little help
from a 30-yard effort from Cesc Fabregas.

It's the greedy bastards vs. the cash-strapped, plucky underdogs!... except it really isn't,
since Arsenal are a multi-million dollar organization.
Whatever, City still sucks.

Mikel Arteta has been an essential piece in the Arsenal midfield set up ever since his deadline day
transfer from Everton. He has impressed many Arsenal fans with his footballing brain, accurate
passing, ability to keep the ball and technical ability. Now, the Arsenal midfield maestro is

Arsenal suffered yet another defensive injury yesterday in the 1-0 defeat to Manchester City, when
Johann Djourou was taken off just after half time with a groin injury. Arsene Wenger said after the
game that the Swiss internatinal is expected to be out for at least three weeks. But he gave
Arsenal fans some good [.
So the Carlos Tevez transfer saga is starting to get a little boring. Recent reports emerging
say that the 27 year old is eager to join Milan despite City being totally against Milan's loan
plan.
AC Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani is set to meet City this Thursday in a final meeting
that is intended to iron out all the contentious issues.
When the two Manchester clubs were drawn together in the FA Cup third round, it opened the door
to other clubs with aspirations of lifting the famous old trophy.
One of the best two sides in England at this present time will be out of the FA Cup and that
opens the competition up to the rest.
When Arsenal sold Gael Clichy to Manchester City in the summer, many Arsenal fans were very worried
that the injury-prone left-back Kieran Gibbs was a dangerous substitute due to his unending visits
to the treatment table. These fears proved to be well-founded as the 22 year-old made just 8 starts
for the Gunners this season [.

By David Chalmers
If you'll excuse the pun and read on...
Over a number of years, football has played with systems and tried to define formations while
the brains on the bench tell us that their players aren't confined to a sole set of instructions,
but taking a look at the Premier League this season, it's looking increasingly more like target men
are the focal point of most sides at this moment in time.
Arsenal's ambition to improve position in the league was halted again as the Gunners only picked
up one point from their home game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Tuesday.
A quick goal by Gervinho didn't resulted in a goal flowing result for the home team as their
visitor managed to pick up an equalizer through Steven Fletcher, and hold it until the final
whistle.
There are loads of snippets of Arsenal transfer news about this morning, but most of them seem to
be total speculation without any quotes whatsoever, but it is my duty to pass them on to interested
Arsenal fans. The first one has Arsenal and just about every other top Premier League club
interested in signing [.
