A we are around midway into the January transfer window we decided to look into what types of
players each club needs, I will also put forward my opinion of the ideal players to fulfil the
roles and how likely it is to happen.
Arsenal- Arsenal are a few players away from being truly great, this may be a
bit biased as an Arsenal fan so I may rate us a little higher than other readers.
Last week, Chelsea Coach Carlo Ancelotti decided to take in a FA Youth Cup match featuring Chelsea
and Arsenal at Stamford Bridge. Unfortunately, for Ancelotti, but fortunately for us, the Italian
figured he could sit any seat he so desired; however, he chose the seat of an elderly Arsenal fan
who was not having any of it:
I am very happy to introduce yet another Guest Poster today, he is an accomplished writer and
Arsenal fan called Richard Hall, and I sincerely hope he becomes a regular on the site in the

My name is Abhishek Iyer and I'm a 19 year old college student. I understand that I'm supposed
to share some experiences as an Arsenal fan, which I'm more than happy to. I'm not at all ashamed

it's one of the few things I can discuss with a twinkle in my eye and any discernible modulation in
my voice.
Today's Guest Post comes from a new Arsenal fan site called ArseneWenger.com. Being specialists in
Wenger's thoughts hopefully they will be able to help us all interpret the great mans psychological

usually the time when Premier League teams conduct player transfers.
My Mom is a dear, but she can be very trying at times. Aside from committing the marked
blasphemy of not letting me watch the occasional match (some nonsense about ‘studying' and
‘making my career') she has also repeatedly advised me to ‘support the winning team no?
Apologies for being a bit M.I.A over the last week. Here's a scarily efficient round-up of the
events we may have missed:
Steven Pienaar
Say what you like about whether we need him or not - he cost £3 million, for goodness sake. We
could sign him twice and it'd still be a good deal.
