This is just an update on our Franco Caraccio to Houston rumor. He will be introduced at a press
conference at Dynamo headquarters later today.

It's been a slow day here at MLSR with most of us either working or watching the UEFA Champions
League matches.
However we can now report that Houston Dynamo has moved forward on signing 21 year old, Argentine
forward Franco Caraccio from Argentine Primera Division side Arsenal de SarandÃ.
The problems with Oscar Ahumada have finally been resolved: The defensive midfielder is close to
reaching an agreement with River for a contract renewal worth $1,000,000 ($500,000 annually for 2
years). He will also be handed 30% of a future transfer (a total of 40% if one adds the 10% he
already owns) and has been promised to be sold in the near future.
Arsenal de Sarandi midfielder Alejandro Gomez has admitted that he would be content to move to
Europe in January, but insists that there has been no concrete approach for his services. Gomez,
20, has played a part in all but one of Arsenal's Apertura 2008 fixtures, scoring six goals in the
process and further enhancing his reputation as one of the most exciting upcoming talents in
Argentine
